Terra of 38k years from now looks basically nothing like our Earth (I think the oceans are completely gone, for one thing), so I doubt it would even occur to them.

IoM.
We'd just get registered, put under a governor and then they'd move on. (Y'know until the inquisition discovered we turned them into a wargame in which 1/3 of us play Xenos or chaos)
Except that a fairly large portion of the population would get heresyhammer'd for not worshipping the God-Emperor. Probably other things that the IoM frowns upon as well.

If any of the 40k factions were to visit our tiny blue planet, the Tau would arguably be the best and least likely to genocide us.

... Why? They're slow and share no diseases with humans.
Missing the point of the terrified thread, dude. Fear is subjective and often irrational.

Meh, the ship was already showing cracks in the hull and a fractured keel. It probably would have sunk in the first swells over five feet high, assuming that it didn't simply leak all its ballast and capsize the next time someone breathes on the sails.

* Sirus lost track of that metaphor somewhere

@ Joshua:

Could your therapist have become unavailable for some reason? I know that a therapist my dad was trying to see won't be in the office for something like three months for maternity leave.

I would give him/her a call to try and schedule another appointment.

Speaking as a total lonely loser, I had pretty good luck by talking about the class(es) we shared. Whether it was to ask for help with something or to joke about something in the textbook, or even badmouthing the teacher (assuming the teacher deserves it). Whatever. Point is, it's a common experience and such conversations can naturally segue into any number of other topics.

It still does apply that debuff, yes.

I think equipment just effects how much damage the initial hit does, if any.

Welp. New game possibly steals Stardew Valley's thunder.
Recommended by steam curators "Waifu Inc" and "Hella Yuri".
Recommended because the game has a relationship system and because you can play as a woman while romancing women, respectively. Both of which are features that Stardew Valley will supposedly have as well, and so will probably be recommended by those same curators. Was there some sort of point you were trying to make?

Partially. Not all of the psykers gathered are sacrificed to the Golden Throne; those with sufficient willpower can become sanctioned psykers. Astropaths and other such things.
