Led by Augustus Caesar, the Roman Empire and its legions have dominated the world through the awesome, overwhelming might of their...culture?
Yep. Cultural victory as the Romans. I did a bit of conquering here and there (especially when Genghis Khan made himself a bit too much of a thorn in my side), but by the end of the game I had spread my religion to nearly every city, was allied with every city-state in the world, dominant over Ethiopia (who still tried to insult me periodically, despite being at a massive disadvantage in every category), allied with Korea, and working together with them to crush China. The cultural victory occurred just as I was bombarding Beijing

Well, as of now I am no longer Trucker Goddess. Cleaned out and secured my truck this morning. The party truck is now on hold until further notice.

Some P&P RPGs have some really interesting background and lore, so yes I tend to read it all. The various 40k games are good examples, and there's also Eclipse Phase which goes into tremendous detail about the setting. I'm a lore junkie

27 and counting
although in my experience it actually stops being a problem once you get so used to it being the status quo
* Sirus does the 27-and-counting secret handshake
Well, guess I'm officially unemployed now. I think this was the first boss I had who actually didn't want me to leave, so I feel kinda bad for the guy

Other Games / Re: Battlefleet Gothic - Armada. RTS.
« on: December 19, 2015, 12:54:55 am »Another video has been released for Battlefleet Gothic: Armada. It consists of gameplay footage with voiceover and has some nice shots of the different ships for the Imperium, various ships for Chaos, Orks as well as the first look at an Eldar ship I believe.I saw sails, those were almost certainly Eldar ships.
I'm really starting to look forward to this, poor narrator notwithstanding.

Grifen beamed back at Miguel. If the old man hadn't been around, her attempt to get the soldiers to leave in peace would almost certainly have failed.

You need to play more Team Fortress 2, in that case.
