: "Hrmph. Most of them are simple peasants who have never ventured beyond their home villages before this sorry affair. Perhaps you come from the same stock, cat?"

: "In fairness to them, the ordeal they endured likely constitutes the only experience most of them have ever had with humans. I imagine they are soured on the race as a whole, and see the Prince as little different from their former captors."

813
: "Considering what this group's done so far, I'd feel sorry for any hypothetical ambushers. It'd be a poor career move for them."

: "So yeah, I say we play along with this guy. We don't have to trust him, necessarily, but we can work with him for now."

814
I am of course okay with the Claire support.

815
K-15, continue healbot duties.

816
Damn, really? And after I gave them my gems and remaining magic items, too  :-\

What a shock that the nation that pumps out the most pollution by a considerable margin is more susceptible to respiratory illnesses. What a shock that the nation with a history of being susceptible to such diseases managed to get another one.

Nah that can't be it, must be a conspiracy ::)

I guess 2020 is gonna be the year of the doomsday prophecies. First everyone is flipping their shit about WW3, now this. We're not even through January yet.

"It's not impossible that we could lose. But isn't it enough that I don't want another War of the Walkers? Why kill each other when we could work together?"
: "A sensible way of thinking for a nobleman. You believe that a quick end to the conflict is possible?"

819
I thought goblins were one of the default races. How did they get a splatbook?

820
: "Poor luck, Miss Wander. Perhaps your next exchange will go more favorably."

J-15, healbap Yliss.

E-6, stab Skele T.

L-11, attempt to ZAP the Ranger with Sacred Steel.

: "Hrmph. I an not so naive to think that humans or laguz will always act solely out of the goodness of their hearts. That does not matter. Whether it was for gold or for other reasons" - Raajak cast a speculative look at the human prince at this point - "the fact remains that you are helping. The prince's men could easily have left us all to rot in our cages after rescuing the princess, instead."

824
: "You will not need to ask," Raajak said, suddenly quite serious. "Everyone here came to rescue Princess Ella and several other laguz - including myself - from a fate worse than death. If there is a need to fight on the road back to Sampia, I will come to your aid. I swear it."

825
: "A mage, hrm? We have no mages among the laguz, except perhaps the dragons. No one really knows what they get up to. I am looking forward to seeing magic in action; I did not even know there was more than one kind of it." Raajak sensed that something was bothering the human, but could not begin to guess what it was and so kept his mouth shut. The laguz gave an oddly purring chuckle at the question about his place on the battlefield.

: "Indeed I do. It would be foolish to not use our claws and fangs effectively, right?"
