Amberly peered across the crowd towards where Lysander worked.

: "Is Fer okay? That looked nasty." She did her best not to sound too worried.

I believe Gunner-chan is telling us that a wolfgirl is a lifelong commitment, and not just something you get as a Christmas present and then abandon. I for one approve this message.

E-11, Greatlance the Skelley.

: "This is crap."

If Astera fails to kill Scoundrel D, try again! Otherwise, move to M-5 and burn the archer.

I've recently gotten back into EVE Online. Now that I have an actual income, I can play for longer than a two-week trial period on a throwaway account.

I remember the first games' plot clearly: An old man bribes you to come to his house with candy an animal, his son chooses the one that should beat yours in a rock-scissors-paper fight, but is wildly incompetent and loses, you want a bike, you do some stuff to get a ticket, trade the ticket for a bike, you get on a cruise ship with team rocket, team rocket tries to steal fossils, you win the right to bring one fossil back to life as a pokemon, then you fight the elite 4 for some reason.

Edit: I left out the zubat cave where you learn the light HM. I'm not sure if that was a plot point or not.
Minor quibble, Team Rocket wasn't really involved in the cruise ship at all. I'm not sure there was a single Rocket Grunt on the entire thing.

G-11, be buffer.

I don't remember the name of it, but for that fight I used the charm that gave you a constant cloud of poison. It killed the boss' spawns without too much trouble allowing me to concentrate on the main bug. Your tactic seems a lot more complicated.

I'm 98% sure pikachu is talking about skin color, not clothing color.

There was this series of survival games, probably back in the late 90s or early 00s, on the PC. You had to manage a tribe of primitive humans and uncover secrets on various tropical islands. I remember that the game kept track of time while you were gone, sort of like a modern idle game, so if you left for a few days without making sure the tribe was getting along well you might come back to find half of them starved to death.

Graphics were pretty simple, the game area was basically a big bitmap while the people were various sprites mashed together to give each one a somewhat unique appearance.

Oh god, THAT thing... I remember that.

I believe you're referring to Virtual Villagers?
Hey yeah, I think that was it! Thanks, it's actually a good few years more recent then I figured.

I'm surprised it took so long to invent non-alchoholic grape juice. I always assumed that was easier to make than wine.
It's because the skins of the grapes they used basically had yeast living on the surface. As soon as the grapes were mashed, the yeast was able to get to work on all that tasty sugary juice and get it fermenting quickly. Pasteurization kills the yeast before they can get started.
