Grifen gathered up as many of the flowers as she could and came dashing back.

: "This is so great! Uhh...flowers, right!" The nomad dashed off to search for something suitable.

: "Just don't ask me to stab ya again. That didn't feel good at all." Grifen cleaned her knife off and tucked it away.
: "But anyway, it's good to have that sorted out. I'm surprised that somethin' so powerful could be hangin' out in such a run-down place."
Oh, I didn't visit before every class. We had two classes, then a fifteen-or-so minute break, then two more, lunch, then the final two. I'd carry stuff for two classes at a time and hit the lockers when I wouldn't have to rush. We also had to provide our own locks, but that meant that your locker could be fairly secure if you invested in a strong padlock or something.Man. Leaving aside that the lockers at my school were utter shit, they were also super easy to break into and situated such that you usually couldn't make the class->locker->class trip in the four or five minute breaks. Spent four years carrying around 30-40lbs of books and shit every day, which probably didn't do anything good for my back.People used their high school lockers? o.0Oh sure. Six classes a day, thick heavy books for each, plus notebooks. My school had centralized lockers so I could visit on each break and trade stuff around.

: "Welllll...I ain't been doin' this fer long, but yeah it seemed about right. I wasn't usin' the staff's full power or anythin', so that's not a worry."
: "Whew! That settles that, I reckon. Sorry again."
: "Sorrysorrysorry!" This was SUCH a stupid idea! Grifen quickly brought around her healing staff and attempted to heal the wound.
: "Regrettin' that I even suggested it. Sorry, Sheila." That said, the nomad took Sheila's arm and - as gently as possible! - stabbed it.
: "Well, I guess I could poke ya with a knife or somethin'. I've got a few for preparin' herbs and stuff..."
