Based on the image provided, I'm guessing you basically have a colony or two of your species that are separate entities, already federated with you.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You can see that the Alpha Centauri and Bernard's Star colonies both have different flags, implying that they are sovereign nations. I think the concept is that your species has already gotten a foothold in the galaxy, possibly through generation ships before the invention of the hyperdrive, and that your colonies are now independent but friendly to the home system.

Boy, you're not kidding. Millions and billions of virtual citizens being slaughtered every single turn, in some cases. Planetary populations getting wiped to the last man, woman, and child.

I really don't know. I didn't do a huge amount of testing before signing on as Nazca, I just liked the concept behind the nation.

Flying troops! Leaders that have to be killed twice before you lose them! Loads of magic paths! Some mayincatec flavor without also using blood magic! I might not have used it particularly well but I still like the nation. Probably could have used a better bless too, oh well. I thought reinvigoration and more accurate spellcasting would be a winner.

The problem is that Nazcan priests can't reanimate unless they're mummified, and they can't be mummified until they die. So you're stuck with three choices: keep your priests alive and use the recruitable troops, or pay nearly twice as much for a pre-mummified priest (eg, 175 gold for a mummified priestess as opposed to 100 gold for a living priestess with identical paths and research), or get your priests killed so they reappear in the capitol (potentially far from where they were needed) and then reanimate.

I never had the budget for the second option and didn't get large numbers of priests killed until this little tussle started, so it's far too little far too late.

ETA: There's also the problem that reanimated birdmen can't fly any more, so by relying on undead hordes you lose a lot of the mobility that flying troops provide.

Trust me Happery, however bad you think you're doing, it's nothing compared to how badly I'm doing. Not unless you're also being invaded by three different nations simultaneously and about to lose your capitol.

I thought I might have a chance to break the siege with a mage communion, but either I set it up badly or it just wasn't enough. Shouldn't have bothered.

So Marignon's attacking too, why not.

Hey C'tis, there's still time for you to get in on this action! Great Nazca Gangbang of Summer Year Two.

So you really shouldn't just publish Intel like that.
It's the best way I can think of to show off how much I'm getting massacred while also hinting that the other nations might want to strike at my aggressors' now-vulnerable underbellies.

Did Phaecia and Rlyeh stopped furiously clawing at each other's throats, or Rlyeh just decided it wasn't enough?
So it turns out they teamed up. I'm going to salve my ego by assuming that I'm so dangerous that two nations, including one I had previously messaged and arranged agreeable borders with, had to set aside their differences and sneak attack to take me out.

It's been fun, folks, but I'm pretty sure this is the end for ol' Huehueteotl. Do me a favor and punish these two if I get rekt.

No idea, but I've got two more armies around that size on my borders. Either MA R'lyeh is capable of a lot more troop spam than I had realized, or they're throwing a significant portion of their stuff my way.

Either way, I'm likely dead if I can't rally and drive the fish back to the depths where they belong.

And so, suddenly war comes to the Nazcan people, in the form of squidmen and shambling fish monsters.

Good to know. I wasn't sure if it would be possible or if the server would treat all orders as locked in once received. There were arguments on both sides.
