The game is definitedly nastier. I'm having *real* money problems. To the point that I'm resorting to what I once thought was "twinkish": increase the wagon straight off to 4 heroes so that if worse comes to worst, I can push myself back into the green through consecutive suicide runs.

In fact, I find that it is most prudent to, at least at the start, send your level-up heroes with throwaway squads. If the redshirts start to die, time to retreat and call it a day.

Problem will come when my favorites start to level up and I have to send them into nasty runs. I'm guessing I'll have to play far more conservative then and offset the difference with noob suicide runs.
And if the level-up heroes get targeted and wiped out first?
That happened to me the other night. My best Occultist was single-mindedly targeted by attack after attack until he got killed, while everyone else who was a level lower was basically ignored. No, he wasn't marked. I wasn't even half-way through the run.

Do I want to know?
Yes. You certainly do.

Great performance, by the way. Got great seats, still semi-deaf :P

General Discussion / Re: The Dream Thread

Two notable dreams in the past week:

First was a nightmare involving yet more body horror, which seems to be a recurring theme for some reason :c
Basically someone's forearm was impaled by a pair of metal paddles in such a way that the paddles passed between the radius and ulna bones. Then the two paddles began to move away from each other, widening the injury and bending the bones until they snapped from the strain. But that wasn't the end of it; the gap between the paddles grew wider and wider until the whole forearm split in two.

The second started as a nightmare, but nothing as bad at that. I was locked in a small room with only one door and no windows. A spider was released into the room. Not a big spider, or even a particularly aggressive spider. I immediately began to freak out, trying desperately to escape the spider which was minding it's own business. At that point I woke up, realized "Wait, I'm afraid of wasps, not spiders", and fell right back asleep.

It's a Funimation series.

http://www.funimation.com/shows/a-certain-scientific-railgun/videos

you might be able to view them where you live, they're region blocked for me, but they have video links for all 48 episodes.
Hrm. Not region blocked for me, but unless I'm willing to disable adblock it might as well be :/

...yeah no, I'm pretty sure this is a TPK in progress. The two characters still on their feet have a grand total of two vulns between them, both of them are in Gallus' hands (and he's needed for dancing, so no vulning) and there are so many enemies that anyone they revive will get mobbed and downed again.

So I wanna watch A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun. Any recommendations for what order of episodes I should watch them in? While writing this post, I found that there's a sequel series to ASMI and something called A Certain Scientific Railgun S. Imma need assistance.

In order of production, it goes ACMI 1 -> ACSR 1 -> ACMI 2 -> ASCR S. In chronological order, it goes ACSR 1 -> ACSR S = ACMI 1  -> ACMI 2.

Personally, I watched them in order of production and it was fine, but it would have worked just as well if I started with Railgun instead. Only thing I'd say is to make sure you watch Index 1 before Railgun S and not after, because S and Index share an arc, but S was made later so it has way better production values and is quite a bit more detailed.
Any place to legally watch these online? I tried searching for the Railgun series on Crunchyroll a while back and had no luck at all.
