A run as Azazel turned amazing when the very first treasure room provided The Ludovico Technique. Also became Guppy for the first time and destroyed Mom's Heart in about 10 seconds.

Grifen did her best to take everything Fezz said in. She failed. She also didn't have the slightest idea what a "dragonstone" was, but that seemed rather unimportant compared to the things she did understand.

: "So...things ain't the way they were supposed to be, I take it? And who the heck are Forsaken and Lebrande? I ain't ever heard of them."

Grifen dusted herself off (having been knocked over by the opening door) and hugged Fezz from behind.

: "Glad to see ya made it out in one piece."

: "So, what happened? Preacher told us about a ghost and how Julius is apparently some sort of royalty, but you were still down there for quite a while."

Indiegamestand's new pay what you want deal is Sword of the Stars: Ground Pounders, which looks like a sort of wargame. Anyone know how good this is? I enjoyed SotS much more for its lore than for its gameplay. Would love to see more of it, but not if the game is rubbish.

Dunno how good the gameplay is, but it looks like there are only 2 races playable in the base game with a third as DLC. That...doesn't exactly impress me.

: "What...what happened to yer pa?"

: "Fer you, maybe. Fezz and Julius are probably doin' fine. Preacher's safe unless Sheila decides to kill him. I don't think anything else is gonna attack us tonight. What else is there to worry about right now?"
