Other Games / Re: How did you last die?
« on: April 10, 2015, 01:11:32 am »
After a huge increase in the fatality rates of COONT-5 victims, almost the entire world's population was eradicated, except for New Zealand. They became the bastion of humanity, stopping the disease early and having all the infected die off, so there were ~700,000 healthy humans left alive to rebuild.

COONT-5 failed to kill all of mankind.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Best way to win with bacteria is to NOT kill anyone at first. Focus on spreading to every corner of the world and delete symptoms as they mutate randomly. Once every nation in the world in infected, go nuts. You'll probably be detected before you can reach global saturation, but cure research should be manageable.

Millbrae BART, a stones' throw from where I live. It's I think the newest and most extensive transit hub in the bay area. You have connections to BART, Busses, CalTrain, AmTrak via CalTrain, SFO via BART, etc etc etc.

Should we start to figure out a date? or maybe a month/week to start?
I assume they have car parking there? I think there's a BART station not too far from my house but they only do like, 1 train to the Bay Area in the morning and 1 back in the evening. Not ideal for what I assume will be an all-day meet-and-greet. I'd rather drive to a central hub and then go from there.

Weekends are a must for me, since those are the easiest days to get off work. I can be free most any weekend.

Triple bump!

I still need some local knowledge of where one can park a car with a reasonable degree of safety :P

You choose subcategories now so you can't change your mind later :P

9771
I'll finish my character tonight after I get home...though that won't be for another 4-5 hours >_<

So, I've never used this roll20 thing before. Is there anything I need to download for it?

9772
I used random.org for mine, and for once the RNG was (somewhat) in my favor:

I'm not gonna be the best shot, but Agility seems like it will be our bread and butter in a light infantry/stealth-based regiment. At least INT and PER are decently high, which should help me do my techie stuff.

9773
But if I move I can't stab :V

9774
I should be able to kill the flamethrowers decently well, if a path can be opened up.

9775
So what's our regiment name going to be? The 3rd Tegh Tsarreri Rifles or something?

Also Aseaheru, do you plan to roll our characteristics for us or are we going to do it ourselves?

Amberly eyed the wiggling tentacles with disgust. She had been learning how to play cards by watching the rest (she could tell that they weren't the best at it), and now some horrible sea monster had disturbed her only source of entertainment.

: "Please go away now."

Move to (6,9) and ZAP the tentacle!

9777
Holy
wow
of allllll the characters I would have expected to fill up all support slots, I never would have expected Amberly. Certainly not so soon ._.

Approve->All I suppose.

9778
Does myth-weavers have an Only War template? I can't seem to find one.

9779
Keep guarding!

We rediscovered our old PS 1. It has cables that work with it, and the laser, by some miracle, is still functional.

Just need to keep it another 30 years then we can sell it for MEELEEONS!
Holy crap, you too? We discovered an old working PS1 in a closet a few months back. The only difference is that we don't know where ours came from because none of us have ever owned PS1 games :P
