in that case the "special skill" of mine is that i come from a technological advanced future where nanobots are implanted for healthcare. So i'll probably be more healthy and less at the risk of sickness of sort. (and maybe wounds might heal faster)

Planned for a while now. Firstly we need to define what materials float and what materials don't. Currently everything sinks.

just thought of something funny...
like a surface fort with wooden walls near the sea, a wave comes, and the walls floats in the sea...XD

Just occured to me that maybe for island and coastal fortresses that a port building could be constructed or maybe it could be a zone or something.  I was thinking it would function the exact same as a depot but recieve ships instead of wagons and caravans.  This could create an extremely lucractive trade system and boost the amount of imports to a fort.

well, this+Sailordwarf= specific sea buildings!
you know, to catch fishes and produce food like farmplots.
no longer "fisherdwarves" but Sailordwarves.
Thing about the booze on a boat.
And a dwarf on a boat.
And the booze and the dwarf and the magma on the boat.
*yar har, a pirate will be! (also about adding pirates)

meh, nothing wrong.
the one wrong would be the overseer who didn't pause game at the beginning and looked around to see what was around.
While it's true one should not destroy a fort, it's true you didn't actually destroy it, you just laid there a bomb.
and probably, a smart after overseer would have seen it, noted it, and stopped it with a wall, then when is turn was just over, removed the wall and let the flying bomb to the next one.
a sort of "scorching potato" game.
even more, being the fact that they were so directly connected to important stockpiles, one should immediately check wherever orn ot the previous overseer placed them in hazardous areas (to near the magma pumps? Really?)

different thoughts, or different memories?
both are similar but on a whole different scale.
let's take three subjects.
A, B, and C.
A white caucasian, a black african and a yellow chinese.
The white is a fanatical catholical-nazi, the chinese an overzealous nationalist and destroyer of all religions, and the african is a fervent muslim of the heavy side of the religion.
(so, to say it bluntly, take three completely different people of three different ideals and faiths and the like)
now they all become A1, A2, A3.
they are all physically the same.
but their minds are different. their faith, and all that is not physical is kept.
While the "white caucasian nazi-catholic" might be fine, (nazism WAS the purity of race, if all the race are the same=only pure race remains).
but catholicisim might clash against a muslim, on female rights/wrongs (this is taking the WORSE possible of ALL the religions, mind you, so i'm only speaking in extremisms)
and the "nationalist" might clash against not only their ideas but the place they were born into, "i was born in greath mother china, i am better!".

So physical is one thing, but is not the complete answer.

Now you transform them again.

but you copy paste A, or B, or C mindpattern in the others.
what you obtain is best known as a multiple personality disorders, a Black african catholic nazist? (stressing the nazi, not the catholic part)
then they would start to purge each others, because they'd be an affront to themselves, maybe some might try and change their ways of thinking...
(disney reference anyone? you hate pandas, you become a panda, you start loving pandas otherwise you might end up stuffed on a wall?)
but in the end, it wouldn't change much.

while it might be bothersome not to recognise the original A in the middle, it's not like anyone is going to suffer from it.
being there "no sexuality" (we shall consider all three A's to be asexual, and reproduce through strict cloning system). the problem of "fighting" for procreation comes lest.
Now, the geograpichal collocation of said individuals might be a problem.
(let's say you're an A in europe, it's different from being an A in the saharian desert) but you adapt, we are all different as races/thoughts because of our adaptation to the live around us.
adapting makes you different, at first, but you just repeat the process through cloning. and not in the "superhuman" nieztche way of the term, were the rest should die.
You just start cloning the different with the genes of the adapted, all of them, and you create a new "batch" of clones all identical, all superior to the precedent generation, and you let the old one die in peace.
you repeat the process until you obtain precisely what is asked: a generation of all identical beings, of same skin.
For their intellectual part it's even easier. Starting from generation One you teach them all except religions, of any kind.
So only science and the like. Might be unfair for the faithful or the like, but hey, if a god truly exists he'll show his face again to this new guys who have no idea what a god is.
So generation one grows without knowing religion.
generation 2 even.
and you procede like that.
Then you simply place in front of them a plan a grand plan, not a tiny little one, one that can concentrate their resources to the limit, like:
"Conquer the ENTIRE galaxy". (longer and harder plan? better!)
in this way, providing you give each of them the same exact things, (like one spoon to each, one bed to each, one teddy bear to each) they will grow identical in some but not all experiences...
(the possibilities of having a tooth ache or a stomach ache cannot be discerned, obviously).
but you do not need to synchronize their thoughts.
You could create such a feat and use it as a sort of "corrective" measurement, if ever need their be in a society which should be "perfect" as the question asks.
in that way a criminal (of what? self murder? you just clone it again and his fine alive) get resynched with the thoughts of the best worker/soldier/control unit, and is back to work.
Obviously his mind is searched to understand what made him stray, and things get corrected.
in this way you achieve peace, tollerance and everything nice:
Complete annihilation of everything wrong, where wrong is marked as anything different from the "best possible outcome, in the best possible world" like in Voltaires candide.

This dillema doesn't really work. People will keep hating. Unless you make literally that no person is any different of other person in any way, including thoughts, beliefs, location of living, etc. people will find something to hate others.

even in that case...what sort of "anonymous" person are you referring to?
everyone has to become someone anonymous.
So why not make everyone like me, with that button? wouldn't it be the same? it would be even better, because "we" wouldn't kill ourselves, we might argue about who's the original one, but we'd go with a direct democracy, because the thoughts of each of us would be the same...
and nothing would happen ever again.

"WHAT?!" Urist mcking commented, turning to look at the source of the noise, and indeed it was that son of an human of a count.

And with that, what was meant to be a conversation about how the humans had increased their populations numbers and so the count wanted to suggest days of booze and mass reproduction, turned into a quest to find new places to stay.

And a place was found.
seven smart dwarven people braced themselves for the adventure at...
"SILVERWASP!" yelled Ducim, the expedition leader. a female dwarf of few.
"what's with the yelling all of a sudden?" commented her friend, Etur.
"we will call this place Silver-blupblup"
"What the he..." and with that they finally turned to watch the road after an interesting and two days long chit chat which had brought everyone who was ecstatic about the new colony to become just...
quite content.
Because, female chit chats are long, and they tend to forget that if you're leading a wagon with bulls, you shouldn't finish SWIMMING IN THE ARMOK DAMN BROOK.
But that happened.
And luckily...they knew how to swim.
and it wasn't winter.
it's never winter in here...
5 years since the beginning of the country.
in 5 years few things can happen.
But many races can be wiped out.
Goblins? elves? a thing of myth. Smashed apart and destroyed by the terrible titans, the forgotten beast of even more old and dragons.
only humans and dwarves have survived till now...but humans...must not survive.

Objective of the game:
this is not a succession fort, it's more of an RP-fort. at the present the 7 dwarves are:
a mason, a farmer/brewer, a doctor, a carpenter/bonecarver, a woodcutter and two miners (one of the two is the expedition leader)
we have the basic animals (2 dog and two cats) and a hen and a rooster.
Their stats and name will be posted once i get my hand on a more stable connection.

Long-term objective:
enter a war with the humans and kill all their chiefs and leader when they come to siege us.
and make damn sure to weaken them so much their race will be wipedout if the world is kept going.

4th of granite, early spring.
Everything seems fine. We started immediately digging down, i give orders, the others obey me.
After all, i'm the cutest and smartest dwarf around!
But don't tell the others! they'd be afraid of knowing i have a girly side to myself!
