You are currently talking to a guard. What do you want to ask about.
Area's of interest.
Where the hell all the street trash went.
Overview of the city.
Or ask about the many schools the city has.

So how long until the turtle starts becoming amala?
I expect it to get blonde hair and a sweet hat 2 updates after being placed on her head.

Elves don't breed that way.

Oh derek you were as doomed as rosencrantz and guildenstern, Judged guilty by your author of the crime of being superfluous.

Take the Dagger and examine it. Think on if you have any friends who could help you.

"Ah Mr Varol-Zarg could you perha-"
"I'm sorry did I stutter? Let me repeat myself. Get the Hell Out of My house While I'm reading my godamn BOOK Okay?"
You and Dothki leave for the city and look for a street urchin to tell you about the city, but unfortunately the city seems to lack any kind of urchin or beggar. You wonder where they all are. In Bruggle cities the homeless vagrants lime the road to the major business centres asking for alms and charity. Well no matter you soon find a guard, to Interrorgate Question about the city and it's features. What shall you ask him?

I did some Trading with the mountain home shortly before winter came, Traded for all of their wood, as we can't cut enough for ourselves, bought some of their more worthy food, and gypsum plaster.

The magma has receded dow to a seventh of it's former depth, And has completely cooled in some places. I expect that by spring it will have almost completely cooled, and I will have linked the previously flooded rooms to the fort and reflooded the halls, Aas a major part of our defences rely on them being filled with magma. This is unless I fail to make a suitable draining system. I'll get to making magma safe mechanisms immiediatly.

12th of timber.
Most of the magma has been drained, and is only a 1&2&3 sevenths full.

But An outpost liason has come accompanied by a caravan filled with goods, and we have no market area! well have to fix that.

It looks like we'll be able to salvage the metal which was flooded by the magma. In fact there may be more metal there then there was before. We now have stacks of 25 copper.

If you took note of that moron hauler in the picture i put here last in my last journal entry give yourself a pat on the back. That moron droped a stone in the doorway jamming it open. SO now we've lost the kitchen and still and a few workshop's plus a fair bit of food to the magma. Fcuk. Well time to do some damage control. No one important is at risk yet at least.

I think we had some human traders in the market, but I can't be sure. If they were there there's no trace of them by now.

17th.
The magma has lit the remains in our coffins on fire. I hope we don't get ghosts.

25th of the month of burning.
I've activated some of the draining mechanisims built by previous overseers to help quicken the draining of the magma. There is little else I cand do now but wait.

563
4th of Limestone

I have created myfirst master piece! It is glorious.

8th of limestone.
I was minding my own business preparing to make some wonderfuls steel weapons but suddenly some fellow in a panic runs up to me and tells me some random stone worker bled to death. Turns out we have had another magma leak, and this time it's not something we can shrug off. The depot has been flooded. I'm going to get to the bottom of this I swear. Firt I'm going to look into making another outside entance Because the one we have now is suddenly unuseable. Then I'm checking every door to make sure they're locked so no one can open them letting the magma out. This won't unmelt that entry door but it should prevent furture mishaps. Time to get to work.

You rolled a 5 out of ten for the decanter. Not very useful in a lot of situation, but far from worthless. To put this in perspective, if you rolled a 1 you would have gotten a robe of vermin. Which is technically cursed hence to low number.

You choose the box! How you resisted it lure before you never know. Two parts of you are a little upset about this reasoning any item gained could probably be bought using the gold, And a bird in the hand is blah blah blah no one cares. You open the box and find: A decanter of endless water. That's pretty cool I guess. I'm sure it'll come in useful if we ever want to make a water slide or have a pool party.

"For you next job i'll think you'll need some reinforcements. I have some people lined up but it'll take a few days for them to get here. So you're free to enjoy the city while you wait. Ah and there's a lawn party on the grounds here tommorrow evening, if you'd like to attend. I wouldn't if I were you though, It'll be a diplomatic thing and they're always terribly boring. Well we're done here so get the hell out of my house."

You have some spare time to do whatever the hell you want, as long as it won't get you killed.

You and dothki walk in to the abode of Varol-Zarg. He is sitting in a chair in the foyer, Reading a book.
"Well here you are then. I hear you finished that job quite nicely. I must admit I was afraid you were going to kill the poor priests. But since you performed my task to the letter I think you deserve a reward. SO Do you want
a lump sum of Gold
Potions
or Whats in the mystery box!?

And do choose quickly we still have to discuss some of the other tasks I want you to complete."
The box this time is signifigantly smaller then the last one, only a Korgath in size and a perfect cube. And Yes apparently he is going to offer a mystery box for every reward.

Guzkirar can't you read?

It translates to simplerighteous if thats what you meant though. I like to think that it's because your dwarf thinks that a sword is the simplest and most righteous way to deal with a problem.

You hide the bodies in some barrels outside. those barrels are everywhere and nobody looks in them so you doubt any one will find them anytime soon. retrieving your arms from the chest, you patiently sit, waiting for Dothki to Wake up. When he does he appears groggy and disorientated.
"uurrhgg What did I do last night? Ahh my head is killing me. And i'm sore all over." Huh looks like he doesn't remember you attacking him. That's convinient. Time to lie through your teeth.
"Dot- Master last night after finishing Mr Varol-Zarg's errand you came back here to celebrate and then you drank a lot of a beer and wine and some strange potions and Then you dragged me up to our room, And then you removed my arms to "ecksperement" and then you fell asleep  and then I put you to bed." "argh did I do all that? Smeg no wonder my head head hurts. As soon as the room stops spinning I'll put your arms back O'kay? Did anything else happen?"
"Not that I remember. Though there were some weird sounds at night, But those were probably normal in this city. Oh and We have to go to Mr Varol-Zarg's Manor to report your success Master."

Dothki appear to have recovered somewhat from his poisoning.
"Ah right We'll leave off repairing your arms until I'm done with Zarg. We leave right after breakfast"

At The Manor of Varol-Zarg.
Zarg's Manor is less large then you imagined. It is mostly gardens and parks, with a large, but not huge, White wooden building in the centre. Varol-Zarg is A man of modest tastes it seems.
Upon closer inspection you find the building to be made of not wood but bones.

Lovely.

Some of them are clearly human or humanoid, but Others are far too large. Regardless of size it's clear this house is made of countless resting dead.
Well if you want to Run like a crybaby sissy now would be the time to do it.
The whole house smells like freshly cut grass, and spring rains. Being A dry autumn you have no idea how this can be. But there it is.

The stategist suggests that now may be the last chance to hide the dog bodies and blame someone else so dothki doesn't ahte us and realise how much freedom we have. The Psycho shoots this down  because he wants to see dothki's reaction. The Gentle one want's to give the doggies a proper burial but thats not going to happen, and the theif doesn't give a crap about what happens to the stupid mongrels

What will you do?
Hide the dog bodies?
Or Don't hide the dog bodies?
