Deon turned up as soon as someone mentioned his name.
I'm scared.
Has anyone else noticed the sheer variety of odd (interesting) objects that were shown off in the trailer? Like the vine thing where the guy was climbing up by using vines? All that kind of stuff?
I think he's saying that Notch is either stupid or malevolent. Which, to be fair, seems pretty likely.
I was wondering about the sci-fi stuff and I was thinking you get it from crashed spaceships or something like that.
EDIT: I do think they should do a spawn limit per area. Something like
if x > 4
then x = spawn limit
( x = (depth/3) )
if not
then 4 = spawn limit
Spawn limit causes the area around the player to depopulate. This means spawns turn off and allow the player a bit of exploration.
So.
if number of enemies killed => spawn limit
spawn = 0
Or something like that.

...Are you seriously trying to argue that Notch is a horrible person because he links to interesting games? Seriously? Do everyone a favor and never, ever work in any kind of marketing or public relations department ever. Your argument is so backwards it's absurd. You're basically saying Notch is evil because he gives an indie company customers.

But there is a build up, any sci-fi equipment is endgame stuff.
