Not in the "evaporation" sense, either. I mean straight up exploding and endangering all nearby.
It's a very simple method: have either an interaction or a material that, when used on an enemy or globbed at an enemy, will give them an interaction that forces them to keep using an UNDIRECTED_DUST interaction for as long as they're conscious. Using END times, you can have them have a chance to to survive this, but that's no fun.
Example: Say you have... a covenant grunt. He uses a long-cooldown interaction called "lob plasma grenade". When used, he'll "throw" a "plasma grenade" at his opponent. If it hits, you'll see an evaporation and the poor bastard at the other end will start knocking himself around with his undirected dust.
