This is 100% possible in vanilla DF. It's probably a captured goblin or human leader, considering the goblins' and humans' propensity for having clown leaders.

« on: July 31, 2011, 09:26:58 pm »I have a question about armor, currently my guy is wearing 2 iron mail shirts, one bronze breastplate and a couple of cloaks, I fought some bogeymen recently and one of them was able to punch me in the stomach and it only said it went through one of the cloaks, does wearing more then one piece of upper body armor cancels all except for the one you put on last or something like that?
No, it's just that it only says that it breaks through the upper layer. All the armor works.

Sorry to be 'that guy', but I have one more question. How do I use breath attacks? I'm playing as a Salamander in the Genesis mod which I know can breathe fire, but I have no idea how to do it...

I'm going with mixtures between "evil" words or words related to the syndrome and the word for "rock" in the language in my mod.
Hilariously, most of the "evil" names happen to be taken by actual troll names:
"Demonstone" is "vriskaketaki" (each word in the language is 6 letters)
"Infernostone" is "aradiaketaki"
What a coincidence!
Also, how would I make the caverns near-unreachable through undiggable stones? I basically made the only metamorphic rock undiggable for this situation, but would that prevent digging too deep as I want? Since I made one particular caste immune to the effects of the dangerous mining, I need a way to prevent digging more than should be dug.
ALSO:
If I remove most of the metal ores, would that make the metal unavailable during worldgen? Stupid question, I know, but I need to know!

« on: July 31, 2011, 03:51:17 am »I modded skulls to pop out, like the guts do by default. After a few attempts in arena mode, I managed to successfully pop out someone's skull, and then sever it so it flew off in an arc. This did not result in brain damage or instant death, despite common sense.
Did you... did you beat them to death with their own skull? Cause you should have totally beat them to death with their own skull.
