I think DF feels completly diffrent and you get a totaly different feeling planing your fort when you can see larger parts of it.

Useless Facts. one floor is enough space to supply each dwarf you'll ever have with a personal 7x7 size room. Still leaving lots of room for workshops and diningrooms. I was bored once and just built perfect square rooms on the bottom floor with corridors around them.

I will probably try to think of something dangerously creative on my turn if the fortress is stable then.

I liked Dreamfall. Its only flaw was lack of length, I finished it in a couple of days. One of very few proper adventure games I can think of that did 3D well. Hopefully I won't have to wait another 10 years for a sequel...

Well now they got Age of Conan, I wouldn't bet money that they spend resources on a singleplayer game for quite some time.

And yes, it was ok, but to short.

So we got values from 0-400 spread over a value of 0-255 so every color value must be multiplied with 1.5686274509803921568627450980392 (aprox.) to get the actual in world value?

That being said i would easily pay 30£ for a good adventure game and it's follow and it's followups followups, even if they are all made in the same engine. ^^ Oh well.

I would love to know the gray value for land just above the water. It's very hard to guess, either i get very high clifflike effects by the coast or i get the entire country lies under water. if i knew the gray values i could balance it out. ^^

(tries to fit Sweden, Denmark, Norway and UK into one map)

Have anyone seen a good adventure game latly. One that isn't focused of hard core action 75<->90% of the time.
I think the number of games that fit this category for the last 8 years are less then 10. And then i mean adventure and point and click games that arent just trying to steal quick money with poor gameplay (the new sam and max series, may you burn!!!)

The one I can count are.

Run away: a road adventure.
Zak and Wiki.
? ? ?
? ? ?
? ? ?

Story is not the big thing any more, and if it is, it's hidden under loads of loads of nonstop alien killing action.
(I don't mind that either but please give me a good adventure that doesn't have the feeling of being pulled out of a rats arse.)

Text adventures evolved in to point and click, point and click had som more "realtime/ less gui" games followups. Then it all died...

hmmm if there is one week playtime for each player theren my turn will occur in 112 days. ^^ aprox 3 months and 2 weeks.

If you make them babysnatchers they will be quickly outbred and extincted by their captives.

Thats not really a problem and when we talk about gods they will probably live forever anyway and be [damblock:20] impossible to kill.

So "if" the properties are comeign from the plant it would probably be called fire fruit or something and be quite dangerous.

If the alcohol become flamable at a temperature change, would a barrel increase the time it takes due too layering and stuff any clues?
