Hey Guys,
So, ive been away from here for a while, (seems ages!) since about May time earlier this year
Since then i havent had time to catch up on DF at all. I was wondering if anyone could update me on if anything has happened important recently, like any updates, or when the next update is expected to be out ect.?

« on: May 12, 2011, 12:01:50 pm »It's a desktop. Means you can upgrade it easier, less prone to overheating, less chance of losing it/it getting stolen, less chance of the graphics card not being supported well or at all.Oh ok
CheersAny idea if it will run mid-level games like Left 4 Dead 2? It has a fast enough processor, but i dont know what the graphics card is like...

So guys, i need a very cheap, new pc or laptop, as my one here (1.4GHz solo core, GMA graphics) sucks like hell...
Im not getting it for hard core gaming, just the occasional, maybe demanding game, like RIFT and indie games like Amnesia...
So, i found 1 desktop, 1 laptop, same prices, which will be better?

I use it mainly for the graphics...There's this great application called Dwarf Therapist that presents all your labors graphically, but it's between maintainers right now and only works out of the box up to 0.31.21. You need to flip through the last few pages of the thread for instructions on how to update to 0.31.25.If you (anyone reading) are new to DF, I'd seriously, seriously give you a recommendation for trying the Lazy Newb Pack.
(IIRC, Dwarf Therapist now attempts to auto-download new memory offsets if you start it with a version of DF it doesn't recognize.)

Hey Guys,
Ive just started playing Dwarf Fortress after watching numerous LP's, and something is happening that annoys me. When i tell my dwarves to do something, like put some stones in the dump, or make a stock pile for something, they sometimes don't do it. If i made an animal stock pile for the animals in the wagon, they wouldnt bother putting animals in it, same for dumps and other things...
Any idea what is going on?
