The gatherer has a clear path to them and they aren't dieing.  This is the first time this has happened to me after months of playing.

Every time I designate plants near the cave river to be picked, 20-40 seconds after I designate them they go back to not being selected for picking. (sorry for the wordiness)

probably not.  I know the ~ is the character to designate a lake, but the last few worlds I've made I could only find 1 or 2 lakes large enough for my project.

Does anyone have a good seed for a world with a lot of lakes?  I've been messing with underwater forts, but I can never find enough lakes.

I had my first siege today and it sucked.  For some unknown reason the goblins decided to come onto the map at the rear of the largest human caravan I've had yet.  Needless to say the humans took huge casualties but ultimately won.  I think this is the poorest example of planning on the goblins part ever.

So my question is, have you ever had a siege as lame as this?
