The eggs are only good for food. In order to hatch eggs need to be both fertilized by a male and continuosly sat on by the female, which obviously caravan eggs aren't.

Or you make your workshops with included adjacent stockpiles for food, booze and RAW MATERIALS. Takes more room, but it's way faster when UristMcCarpenter has to go only 1 tile to get that oaken log.

Yeah, the average person doesn't know at all what he's really voting for and those people, though politically completly useless, still get a valid, full-counting vote. On top of that you can only choose from several "packages" of political standpoints, with no way to choose something inbetween. You're either "red", "green", "yellow" or whatever. Which is really stupid, if someone did ask me "do you like eating shit AND dwarf fortress OR do you like drinking piss AND partying" I'd say that he could fuck right off, yet this is what democracy is about.

Decent dwarves shouldn't haul. You have got enough unskilled / wrongskilled dorfs to carry your stuff anyway, I'd rather have my legendary armorsmith forge some armor then carry plump helmets, kthx.
