The Wargame series does a decent job of having the different two factions have different playstyles, and then the deck breakdowns therein give you more versatility in what kinda army you want to bring out.

Well to be fair, AdventureQuest and DragonFable WERE made in the early days of Newgrounds.
I remember there were three camps in my middle school, the runescape camp, the Dragonfable Camp, and the Adventure Quest camp.

Unless it's already planned, Crisis of the Confederarion or After the End as your next mod?
After the End- follows human kinds last attempt to stop the Miroslavs. Nukes. After Miroslaves rebuild, they aim for the stars.

Okay, I don't get Republic inheritance rules. ALL my titles went to the Doge? Last time I lost the Republic I kept most of them!

Also, fuck the AI and its possibility to straight-out steal your trade poste without you being able to do anything about it.
Thats one of the reasons I dislike the HRE/elective, if you arent voted back in, you lose your lands to the new emporer/dynasty.

Could be siege events, top right corner is where they show up I believe.

Started playing this again since I picked up some more DLC in the summer sale.

Trying a game as the Norse again, and I'm having the same issue I had before in some games. I can't figure out what causes it, but my troops are losing numbers FAST as if they're suffering from attrition on land that is showing 0% attrition.

Like I put a stack of 7500 men on Brugge to raid it and by the time the county was done raiding I was down to 1800 men. There were a couple events coming up about losing troops, but that only cost me about 1000 men. The other 4700 just died, losing a bunch every couple days as if I was sitting on a bad attrition area. It's making raiding extremely difficult, the only way I can do it is to spread out small stacks across a big area and just expect to lose everyone since even a stack of 500 men will dwindle down to ~350 or so just in the time it takes to get some loot from one county.

Anyone else ever have this? I just can't figure out what's causing it.
Dont put your full stack on a province, split them up so you can double up on looting, you dont really need to fully siege provinces either, just get the undefended loot, also dont raid tribals, as their land is trash.

I kinda enjoyed the amount of stuff there was to do in Skyrim. All the little outposts made the world feel alive to me, and I spent a great deal of time trekking on foot to discover caves, or cross plains and swampland, that it didn't always feel super saturated, but thats just me.

I am sure the toxic soil is perfect for growing large fruitful farms necessary for large populated cities.

New Vegas for example survives purely on nonsense for nourishment (actually I have no idea what the people of New Vegas eat... there aren't any real functional farms... for the longest time I thought there was some sort of food generator made by Mr. House)
I think you missed it cause the NCR setup farms outside of New Vegas, you find them when walking through. They have a complete irrigation system and everything. Think there was a sub quest where you actually had to spike the irrigation to kill the crops.

How many acres? I doubt it is more then a few small plots. Not to mention that even then the soil quality is terrible as it is.
There were farms right by New Vegas with irrigation, quite a bit of farmland north of New Vegas, assorted farms scattered in the south too.

According to the map in the first post, if it's at least NV sized then I'll be able to find my house.
I heard three times the size of skyrim is what they are going for. Which is pretty huge.

I'm pretty sure rifles tend to be more accurate than non-rifled shotguns firing slugs, and it would be for this reason.
So what happens when a rifled shotgun fires buckshot?
Apparently, the imparted spin increases the spread significantly and scatters it in a "donut" shape.  Low muzzle velocities aside, I can't imagine it's all that good for the rifling, either.
What about rifled cannon like a parrot gun from the civil war firing canister shot or something along those lines? Or grape shot? Same principle?

A musket is an un-rifled small arm/long gun, rifling just refers to the "rifling" in the barrels, the spiral grooves on the inside.
A musket would be inaccurate due to the ball bouncing around in the barrel while the rifling makes it much more accurate.
Neither of which really have to do with lasers. Of course rifle has become the go to term for a modern long gun that isn't a shotgun, and laser rifle is already taken. The name laser musket probably refers to the elongated reload of it, but im not sure, probably just a gimmick name for the "Minute Men" main weapon.
Just wanted to correct this quick.  A musket (or indeed, any other smoothbore; muskets aren't the only type of smoothbores) isn't just inaccurate because the ball is bouncing around in the barrel.  If your calibers don't match by that degree, you've got a pretty awful gun to start with whether it's a smoothbore or rifled, and the fact that this was common in bygone days was independent of the type of barrel, but rather a consequence of the difficulty of precision engineering.  A rifle is more accurate than a smoothbore not because its bullet fits the barrel better, but rather because the rotation imparted to a properly-designed bullet by those spiral grooves you mention induces a gyroscopic force that stabilizes it and causes to fly straight for longer.  I'm pretty sure rifles tend to be more accurate than non-rifled shotguns firing slugs, and it would be for this reason.
Thanks, I was mostly going off of previous knowledge and hearsay.

I hated Mothership Zeta because I couldn't carry back all the loot.
Thoughts on Dead Money then?
