:"Sorry that I keep falling down like this."

"You're doing well Anne! We all make mistakes--what matters is if we're supported when we do them!"

Equip Aura, go to 23-5, blast Corrupted Paladin 6

General Query to the Players: Several of you have taken Actions to study the backgrounds of some of your characters. Since characters are not necessarily bound to your faction (think three kingdoms style people switching back and forth) i would suggest posting general descriptions and background stories about important figures in here so you dont have to spend actions on that. Mind, this only refers to the NPC Characters you have been settled with, not your own chars. Should you for any reason wish for me to refrain from that simply pm me and i will of course not post them.
I'm totally ok with everything being known :P Because people implicitly respect each other's spoilers.

This is a nice switch of a player by the way!

Arkai, having been in close discussion with the deity of Thought, had taken her plight upon himself to correct. When he creates the Paladins, he places three fourths on Multitude near the Drui and the remaining quarter within the Plane of Thought with the permission of it's owner.
Being part of Time, It was pretty concerned if the response had been finished or yet to be done, or was the current moment part of the answer? Regardless, they agreed, and told those aspects whom were in their domain...to tell their attuned God that they were fully welcome within the domain of Thought without restriction--as long as either was respected as equal.

Thanks to its Corrupted Origin, it was not vulnerable against the Replacator. And so, the Acharya opened a Gate to the Subdomain of Thought, throwing the Replacator there, far from Mortal hands.
It was displeased by the aberrance in It's domain. It realized it was a great danger given the law that was whirling and whisking through the gates, and through the very fabric of domain itself.

It had to fight.

Action 1: FULL ON COMBAT AGAINST WHATEVER THAT IS.

That was, until It felt a familiar tone in the expanses...but on a more synchronous scale to themself. Sensing the other Elemental God (I've no idea if I can sense Control, but as I had dealings with life before...), It decides that given this corrupted source, it was more beneficial to rest and regenerate and seep out the corruption.

Action 1: Rest. Regenerate power.

Action 2: Slap Arkai with 3 Power.

Action 3: If possible, just rest near that Shard corrupted thingy, giving any aid I can to anything that'll affect it non-corruptedly, or moreso just stay near it to stop it from corrupting these poor dreamers, or help out without spending any power. Perhaps even I can use it in the meantime. Probably also ponder on how to upgrade to a domain.

When the Universe stabilized, It looked upon the Universe. It saw the many gates and passages from It's subdomain, and saw the Sources, the Astral Bodies, the Worlds, and the Empty Expanses, and saw other things therein. It saw lifeforms, eeking out existence but having only one predominant form of song within them; this "song" was It's way of giving meaning to the thrum of lifeforms devoted and born from certain Origins, each one had a peculiar and distinct resonance. It felt power given onto itself. It realized that while there were the Original Gods, there was also more--they had a lot to do and take care of, and yet by looking into themself, It saw that there could be more onto more. Lifeforms onto greater paths, of diversity and perception and all It had seen, and of their inner selves of which each one was inherently valued.

And so It spoke and for the first time, It's words traveled through the known and unknown expanses, through the Universe, and weaved into what It thought were the meshes of reality--as It decided to ensure there was balance in all things, that all things be treated equal, that in time these things may grow and move past what they had known before them without making less of themselves, of being able to spread and grow in many forms than physical, and to choose their own paths given the chaotic nature of an ever-changing Universe.

It wrote into the song of reality, and It found it was compatible in purity; there would be places for mortals to know the perception of themselves, of their scale and worth in the Universe, and that they not see themselves as little in terms of worth, but be awed by their own things in their own lives, which included all.

Action: Make an Absolute Universal Law

Quote
Name: The Law of Thought
Class: Absolute / Universal
Target: All Lifeforms (all that was, that is, that is to be)
Effects:
All lifeforms have Thought or varying degrees of it as inherent, and in turn, are able to freely access the planes of the element Thought, and their own Origins thereof (Corrupted or otherwise) in their personal rest and effortful consciousness, and several other characteristics. This law encompasses the development of any individual lifeform, to be able to work with their Origin essence and handle the needs that lifeforms have, while being progressively oriented to working with themselves and their environment.

The plane of thought is easier to access for all lifeforms and servants--but especially for all mortals, and all servants of Thought. Mortals can not truly die on the planes of Thought.

All lifeforms may be able to draw relative power for their usage and dependency (e.g. to work with needs of lifeforms) from their planes of Origin or from the planes of Thought.

All lifeforms will have forms of communication between themselves, and towards their Origins, and be able to progress, learn, adapt, be affected by, and work with their environment, including learning from others that they may be able to sense, and being able to perceive their own thoughts as independent from others, as well as be able to grow them given their own circumstances.

I have feelings by the wording of the OP that elemental gods are like early-game weaker but more flexible over the course of the game.

Arya was very happy her codex had a confirmation feature which allowed mispressed messages the benefit of review before she really intended to send them. She was also glad she made the whole thing herself, because she customized the heck out of said confirmation feature that she wouldn't skip it if she did, in fact, press one of the pre-recorded answers that she had to deal with given the audiences that sent her things.

She regretted that she didn't set up a better messaging system sooner.

The OES was built not only for the Empire but for the purposes of service. We remain an independent force not for ourselves but in fighting for the safety of the dominions of the people--consider no harm meant onto any of you who see honor in spite of the death of our Emperor, and an ally in us if ever you seek anything else. We can benefit more than if we act apart; decentralization has left many without hope.

"When they are working, Gremlins are not the most careful people. I will instruct them to play nice, but I cannot guarantee that there will be no accidents. I cannot guarantee that there will be no harm done... Aside from that, your terms sound fun. I will have my people round up the runaway humans and move north to camp with you for at least the winter. The toys and tools they will bring from the main camp should get them to work! I promise that my people make great allies... So long as you keep us entertained!

We have a deal, Friend?"

"If all goes well, perhaps it may be tradition to share benefits in the season of cold." The distant realization of Gremlins being not the most careful was new--Iyiania ascribed their reluctance to some manner of connection with their deity, but she didn't know there was one in the first place. "Round up as many humans and catfolk as possible, please. So many are missing." You feel feelings that she believes they may not survive the winter alone.

...Also feelings on if gremlins enjoy mental challenges, puzzles, and theatrics of the mind. Iyiania wonders if they knew of philosophy.

The voice laughs. "They call me The Great Wrench. In another life, I once was part of the great gnomish pantheon, but now I am merely lord of Gremlins. My flock is scattered as well, and winter will be upon us soon. Perhaps we should keep our flocks in the same pasture for now, to increase everyone's chance of survival. I promise, my Gremlins can be useful!"
Iyiania was an open book--the eye on her hand was a symbol of inner sight as coined by those who worshipped her in the other lands, but her staff was one for particularity, like a scale or a tool.

Right now, it was at the "can be" of the Great Wrench. She connected two and two, and noted that the gremlins in her lands were...overall, despite the presumed and consistent environment of her people (and the cat folk which she heard nothing significantly outwards about), not working as hard.

This she broadcasted to the Great Wrench in feelings, as she wasn't one to hide herself--only her thoughts were hers.
"It is fortunate then that ours arrived safely from the storm together. I do believe that those that we have sheltered, fed, healed, and clothed, were likely uninspired because of the lack of your presence. Your nuance will benefit the people overall more, and Winter is coming; I fully accept on the grounds of no harm done, by presence or omission, from you or your followers to mine own, their works, their beliefs, and their identities--these will be known to my followers by the champions I have picked as they recognize us both. The next condition is helping me find my people, as I have ensured the safety of the people among us in turn. Those I have here are unbound, free, and working with merit and purpose--we are weakened, and easy to displace." You could feel resentment towards the storm that had occurred. "When we part ways after the winter, no enmity will be held nor burden be presented; this is a new age for our people despite the pasts that have shrouded and conflicted everything else."

Iyania forgot that the biggest issue was communication--so she committed to act on the issue, finding a person who was particularly very well-rounded, needn't be a fighter but one vested not just in one's personal interests but those beyond themselves; she found people with that particular thought that lacked supplies or the means to do so unless other resources were present, but she had to pick one. Thus she decided upon what was already developed; someone of humility and forethought to their actions, and a mind for consideration and compassion.

First Action: Make 2E divine servant
Second Action: 1E of iron in our area!
Third Action: (Free Action) Whisper words of the smiths amongst the people, to forge tools to mine and to forge tools for the hunt! (Blacksmithing?)

Spoiler: Servant Sheet (click to show/hide)
Iyiania was always present, at least, she was busy guiding with her presence like a shadow by a cloud over the lands--after careful deliberation, she picked a person who not only had a reliable character background, but who also had experience in acting upon their perspective. A presenter of information, someone who knew the importance of sides and perspectives and positions, but who foremost presented information much like the thinkers of the old world to those whose lives were focused on supporting others--that all may share in knowledge.

To them, Iyiania greeted with a gesture of respect. After a while, she repeated what she had mentioned months prior, clarifying that she was the influence to their mental clarity and an influence to what they had felt upon arriving in the area; while this start was familiar--out of the many on the ships, she only sensed nearly a third of all present in the current vicinity, and she needed help from the people. She could only do so much by herself, as a tutelary and transient deity. Thus, she confided her trust, and her insight to the person, and asked them to forward the search for the missing people--and told them of all things that she had received by herself in communication with others. Basically, she told them about showing her presence in more tangible forms, of the iron veins and deposits that she had shrouded until it was needed in the current time, and of inspiration of metalworking, that iron be used to forge better tools and weapons for food and other basic needs. She added connotations that the need for worship was a priority if the others shipwrecked were to be found before the worst of weather would befall them, and thanked them for their time--they would be organizing the people into tasks and duties to be fulfilled, but also in forming advisory and leading councils for the people to have themselves heard. She told them of her symbol, either drawn, gestured by hand or non-verbally, or in concise prayer. She mentioned of the rocks nearby, and of how one may preserve food using structures of such manners--most importantly, she mentioned to have no fear of the winter, for she would protect the land they were in from the cold for the whole of the season; their priority was to stockpile food, however, and prepare to set out in the winter to keep looking for more of their kin...or at least, in the present, find a way to signal them from afar, but at the moment, the best way was to place reverence reasonably in the minds of the people by the smallest of gestures and beliefs, rather than grand rituals.

She mentioned that it took time to converse and speak with people--and even those who were attuned as this, it took time to do, but that she was always open for communication, questions, and clarifications if need be. She mentioned that the coming seasons were going to be difficult, but bearable. And she awaited any response on their side.
Spoiler: Some particulars... (click to show/hide)

"Hello fellow wanderer...You haven't happened to lose some of your Pink Ape-Sheep things recently, have you?"
Iyiania was surprised, because she did not know there were spirits in the area--or was this something else entirely? Her turn segment She did not notice it, and assumed the voice was talking about...the...humans? Of all the known other fauna to herself, she did not think of any resembling that.

"Some of my flock have gone missing, yes. Who are you and what are you saying?"

((I'll presume I told my servant about this too, but in conciseness))

Dirugulatl agrees to the oath.

The lightroot, being a lightroot, is unable to fully understand the oath. It sends good vibes towards Tala's hallucinations, however.
Tala wobbles good vibes back to the lightroot. In any case, she is pleased. She instructs the lightroot champion to stay with the human--to learn from them, and to be taught as their apprentice that they may master these early stages of life and...people-hood, and create their own memories, life, and other potentials. To theirs was trust, as there would be many things to do in the coming generation.

"A warning. Many great people acknowledged by others acted beyond personal goals--personal needs and otherwise. The drive for passion and curiosity delves into the value placed upon things, and even those with mortal lives have done much more beyond their time--but they always needed each other. Teach each other as you teach others, and may the systems you make focus on what you can fulfill, for all needs may not be recreated more than they are, therein lies the spirit of anxiety. You have much power realized, outside of time and age--know that it may be used to harm just as much as heal and help, but always at a pace. You will always have to work with others and yourselves.

"Also, do master at least one language."

Iyiania--who had, probably, tragically lost the "F" next to her name--noticed first the curiosity amongst her people. The cat-folk and gremlins were among them, and at a precariously close distance. This, she sought to explain.

1st action: All 3E, spend on blessing the all-the-humans (since I guess this means a group in an area) and those who devote themselves to her fully amongst the humanoids, to be better hunters--basically heightened mental/perceptual acuity, which may individually and abstractedly lead to better perception, memory, or accuracy (e.g. which can be used for ranged weapons, or being able to perceive the lands and their qualities, etc)

2nd/3rd action: Talk. Just talk--if this isn't enough for an action, then inspire (e.g. tech, confidence, devotion, etc.) to everyone. Inspire some tech by teaching. (The bits about the gremlins are to her chosen organizers and trusted honorable folk)

Iyiania spoke to those who could read and write, and to those who could not, and to those gremlins or cat-folk around.
She bade them to rally and gather, but addressed the humans questions' with confidentiality first towards the presence of others.
"I am watcher and protector, the storm was no natural one given the unseen devastation--the matter that there are others present in many numbers means there are others who have decided as we, towards the darkness. Support me and I shall ensure you thrive. For one day, amongst our children and kin, for the future generations, we will return and help our fellowmen. We need to stand before doing so, and we need to stand firmly. To these, we work as one--treat any others you know or do not know with respect, caution, and trust. Integrate those who choose to follow and earn their keep by aiding the community, that we learn from each others' cultures and shared knowledges; help those who wish to return to theirs by scouting the lands and finding them home. Learn and adapt, form ways as if you did not have the blessing I have given--use it to create, and find those who are lost among the coasts and lands, which will be difficult, but will become foundations for better future action."

Regarding the gremlins, as she was assured of her knowledge about them, she spoke in confidence. "Our people have upheld the values of respect and diversity--respect others, help others, but trust is a cornerstone you do into action. Many may not trust because of beliefs, as in reasoning these are cycles to how they act onto others; beliefs are unseen but guide action into the future by their intent and act. If these are stowaways, then we would have found others among our ranks well before any logistics issues appeared. We help these gremlins, we must make decisions, and you must communicate. Be wary about intent, for them and all others; it is impossible for others among us to be here in such numbers as stowaways. I seek caution, because of these hidden agendas being present--but many do not know, by position, rank, experience, or knowledge, and they are vulnerable--these also depend on their beliefs, as no race or person is to be treated at present by the harms we have seen or suffered by superficial looks and appearances. Communicate well with them and anyone else either way. Use my blessing well, as it can be used in various forms, from scouting to hunting to perceiving the quality of the lands and logistics, to distance measuring to sighting the stars and weather, to creativity and innovation, to noticing the patterns and seeing the depths of the oceans, to seeing what animals are around and the fauna that can help or harm by their appearance. Hunt for other humans, and bring them back--the journey will be long, and people must never travel alone at these times.

"We hold no currency or value as much as important as that which unites you in solidarity--your trust onto others, and your manners of dealing with what you can. As for now, work with the resources you have, establish a system of information, and ask me what is most needed when I return. The beaches can become as stable as any mountain, but require hard work in them. Move your people to locations more desirable if need be, for I have given you sight through your minds for your hands and senses that you may see like hawks--provided you work together to do so. Gather the dead and ensure they are given funerary rites--to not only them, but to those of us lost in the darkness, which we shall one day overcome, and in order to do so, must ensure there is a haven for us to begin with. Let our actions absolve any old grievances, any grudges and misgivings, but acknowledge what we had done to each other freely, for we are all survivors and the hope for ourselves and those to come. We can move forward, while acknowledging our past. We begin anew."

She coordinated her people with words in mind and visions or imageries--to inspire their potential for technology, but to work upon a stable foundation for future inspiration to come forth. They were confused--they needed a structure of trust formed into leadership, and a manner of information and trust, and so she taught how to lead justly, with mercy, and with insight and hind/foresight (...better than aristocracy hopefully?), and showed them possible futures where these would lead to prosperity and fulfillment. This coastline had the opportunity to become a stable and well-rounded port, given its terrain and its geographic nature. The plains are to be used for farmlands and protection, for overwatch on the surrounding lands and establishment of our colony, alongside the forest for raising our animals and safekeeping our supplies--of our lumber and our resources to not just be used but to grow; she promised to teach better use of resources in the future, if the people would act to mark leaders who was humble, resourceful, insightful, and wise in their dealings with everyone else in the next few months, and those among them would select one they would follow in turn, for they would become their champion.

She pointed to the ships and the shoreline--their blessing would aid in searching for all who had gone astray, and to use the ships (or repurpose them into better, swifter ones for the shallow oceans, and to help detect any issues before they become made) to scout the lands for knowledge and information; many must have initially been lost just like them, and it would do much merit to make expedience in doing so before they were lost. They were to leave one ship, as it was a marker for themselves--and for further study in order to build more. They had the knowledge of woodworking and stoneworking; even if their starts will be rudimentary, it will become better with her guidance in time. She mentioned as an aside that they could build crossbows if they found the right materials. To the common man be power--every great work was built upon the free labor coming from the living person who decided upon helping out in doing so.

((Sorry for the edits Mice, I'm in Finals/Masterals season so there were bits I forgot to edit in the 1st/2nd action, I'll place it here.))
This post is not to be edited as per rules in the OOC about changing form posts.
Third Action: Take the form of an Idol.

After speaking of justice, Tala spoke to her champions.
"A ruler who kills those devoted to them is not a ruler who inspires devotion. Immortality is a precarious gift, but just as much as thought is, only elongated in time in a changing world--it is a tool for those who can wield it, but it requires a flexible mind. In the present, you are worthy--in the future, you build upon yourselves to ensure every present time stands for that. If you want others to follow you, you have to become part of their world; that is what I attempt to do, even if I follow somewhat different ideals than what many are accustomed to towards the spirits. I teach freedom and control, I teach insight and impulse, I teach that people are capable of all these and more, and of the worst they can even imagine, because it is by people that their futures are forged--many spirits will not do what people could have, even if they did not, and guidance and interaction are needed. I choose my champions by the characteristics they build--not the expectations they want me to see, as I see more than that; these can all change over time, but regardless, remember you are always free to choose your path in regards to serving me--you can choose otherwise if you think it is best, but see more than that when you think so, because a lot of your thoughts are much like what I say. Thought is guided by what you know, and you make decisions by what you know, and what you know is by what you sense.

"In the future, I ask you to seek people of certain character--you can train them as your apprentices that you are not alone. You can foster people as children even if you will outlive them. Many people chase immortality--try to ensure that they fulfill their lives towards a better future that is not their present. We are all of the primordial essence, and some are the branches of the roots of others. All I ask, is respect, acknowledgement, and remembrance, as a lot of power comes from thought."

And before they were made champions, Tala asked an oath be taken--that they use the powers of unaging, and of immortality, to the best of their reasoning, that they stay true to their word and communicate if any changes would be made in honesty, and that they hide no untruths for they are as real as any spirit or being, but seen in the mind before in the physical place; that they acknowledge they are champions of herself and are connected as an extension of her will. That they serve choice, insight, and life, just like they do her, and that they may choose to return her gifts whenever--but must communicate before doing so.
==+==
Tala mentioned her goal to them, to be able to understand death the spirit and physical better for the people, and they should not be afraid to ask questions, or blind themselves to sides and parties, or sharply held beliefs which cast only wrong or right--as champions, they were trusted above the rest, but this came with humility and was not to be taken lightly.

She then asked them that between now and the next generations, she would return in [50 or so] years--she required a core to anchor herself into as a form to take, preferably of the best metals or materials they could find or trade for (and the tact to be said as needed to procure such materials). If they would learn or knew any better form, it was also applicable. With this, unless anything else was to be attended to, she slept.
