I finaly got to the point where i can build golems ... and not a minute too soon.
Several dwarfs were throwing thantrums like mad, just because i might have killed my whole minerbrigade during an unfortunate FUN! cavein.
Thantrums ... not in my fort ... all angry dwarfs please report to the golemforge  :P
Several of those dwarfs were mothers with babies ... sometimes even two or three
I expected them to starve to death or something, after their mother is golemified but to my big surprise they became golems too.
FOR FREE!!!!
Oh i can't directly control them, but they still stay on the same tile as their golem mom.
Now my fort defense has an awesome set of baby golems  8)

Did a search but might have missed it ... if that's the case please ignore^^

Babie-Golems:
If you make a golem out of a mother, all her babies will become golems too (at 0 cost)
the best part is that they still follow their mother and therefore are usefull
not that i am complaining or anything ... made a golem and got 2 babie golems for free with it  8)

finaly a use for those freeloading bastards  :D

hi

the first bunch of traders arrived at my new fort and i wanted to bring my crafted cages & mugs & other stone crafts to the depot, but none of the items are showing

there are no mandates running and the material (and wares themselfes) arent forbid
But they still dont show up ... this is the first time this ever happened to me :(
i know that mugs normaly dont show up but usually i can select them after typing mug into the selection field

this time ... nothing
only some food and a bunch of weapons/tools i ve brought with me are on the trade screen

plz help

40 bee hives ... do they have any negative effects on the fps rate? (should be quite some bees flying around)

as soon as your mason has to build a wall or something with a stone in his way it will cause delay (some other dwarf has to remove the stone from the site for him)

thx to fps issues i ve always set the population cap at 100
but i kinda ask myself is managing 200dwarfs so much harder?
are the sieges significantly bigger? (and more FUN?)

i think i ve destroyed my evil biome

during my last siege i tried my new Magma-Fall ...
it did it's job quite well ... but it caused a fire which spread and bruned down all the lovly dead eyeball grasslike things
now i don't seem to get any undead visitors any more  :(

is this just random or did the fire realy cleanse the evil biome forever?
