I'd totally invest in a currency backed by ghosts. Quick everyone, which is better: Ghosts or zombies?

That could be interesting. It doesn't make a lot of sense.
How about this: Transformation occurs under stress, e.g. combat or unhappiness. Certain phases of the moon can cause stress. Transforming massively increases stress. Once transformed, the werebeast needs to let off steam before it can transform back to its human/dwarven/whatever from. This can be done through combat, vandalism, magic, contact with a loved one, or perhaps seeing a statue which gives a massive happy thought.
I second this. Instead of tantruming, a werecreature should transform.
That's corrected. As two people asked for it, I also add the "animate/inanimate + hostile/friendly" proposition.

Won't the pipe eventually cool over, as the magma above gets supported and plugs the gap? Eventually?
According to the wiki vampires get their alcohol from the blood of their victims, so as long as their victim has had some recently they'll get what they need from them.
Where in the wiki does it say that? I see this in the vampire entry:
Under uses:
"However, vampire dwarves are still alcoholics, yet cannot drink anything but blood; the resulting job performance penalty from the "can't even remember the last time he/she had some" level of alcohol withdrawal significantly reduces the usefulness of vampires"
and under bugs:
"Although vampires don't drink anything except blood in the Fortress mode, they still suffer from alcohol withdrawal, which slows them down. Bug:5189 "
Does the encrusted item add to the weight of ammunition/weapons ever? Probably not in any noticeable amount, huh?
I suppose you could try to mod in 30lb gemstones, encrust them onto ammunition, and shoot people with bolts with big ol' rocks attached to them. It would be quite Dwarfy.
You can train him to be tavern workers. I would like to go into a bar that has a raccoon waiter can make a good booze.
Is accepting donation an investment? I dont get it, to investn dont you have to first put some money in?
