Just had a fatal tantrum spiral. All because I forgot to properly dismantle the failed magma exploitation system and it collapsed on a mason and the doctor, which stopped anyone who got wounded by the accident from getting treatment. Then the sole military dwarf, outfitted in steel and wielding a spear went nuts. It took the rest of the fort and the lives of 3 to take her down. Tried to separate my dwarves into my waiting panic rooms but melancholy, wounds and sadness stopped them from getting to the separate rooms before more went nuts.

Is running light with little gear and high skills possible?

My best character is now a female one! She lasted well until a fungaloid killed her. There should differences between men and women, so that choosing is another important choice to be made.

Just used DFFusion to embark on a volcano surrounded by mountains with 14 dwarves. Most of the mountain exterior is obsidian. 

Dammit! For the third time, what is the most recent version!!! 

Also, I just had an idea: What if there was a kind of zombie that had bionics? Or maybe even the kind of mutations you can get?

I played a character that never left the sewers! If you have the right mutations and bionics, it is possible!!
