((Also about Suulian culture; I always imagined them  somewhat like St John's Order or the Hospitillars in more recognisable terms. In the medieva/lrenaissance the hospitillars would use their navies to disrupt and raid muslim armies and towns. Think knight-pirates (which is just awesome). In my view they would be militaristic with a naval touch but have tolerance of "heretics" (as in worshipers of the same god/s but with different ways of worshiping them). I  highly doubt that Suul is their only holding. Also during their reign, they held either the island of Rhodes or Cyprus or Malta. They were known for being very good at defense. Sorry for the history dump!))

Try to rescue the stuck lofani. Try hitting the tentacle with anything we can get our hands on. If it proves impossible, GET THE F*** OUT.

Actions


Get 5 lofani to build a crude walls out of the rocks and then place anemones on the wall.

Get 6 lofani to gather a quarter of the copepods. See if their edible.



Gather up five lofani and give them the "spears". Head near the rock oysters and prod them gently with one spear. If it opens, jam more spears inside and bash the oyster. Rinse and repeat.

Send a scouting party (2 lofani) to explore the small crevice. Bring spears and rocks if possible.

Send a scouting part (again 2) to explore the Upper Waters.

Get the remaining lofani to gather rocks. Polish them once they are gathered

Locanil wondered what the king wanted with the spirits now.

Though blissful indeed is the ignorance of the many, the burden of sentience has much to offer. How else would powerful gods like Vahahun exist, or men create vast cities on stone and wood? Cursed you are not, my children... I thought the same upon the moment of my 'birth' into this existence, but soon enough I learned that sentience brings many things... Some cursed, some blessed, but our choice decides which we shall embrace. Tell me, young ones, what do your people care for? The seas? Your young? The simplicity of life? The herd kept questioning the old one's decision; right it was to do but foolish not to serve. Eventually the elder had enough.

"Rkik!"

At that the herd was quiet

"I may have succumbed to my rage, yes that I understand...But life was good, he ruined it! I've spent my entire life just focusing on making sure we all survive another day, and now some clump of seaweed comes out of nowhere and makes life so much damn harder!"

"Never the less father, he is only one who can give us answers to life now."

"Yes daughter, I understand now. We must search him out..."

He signaled for the herd to move out and search for the godling.

Indeed they are, my sister. Deeply do I admire the beings of the deep, seeing as I too was born from the primordial waters of chaos.  The herd, numbered at 23, are shocked and confused; they feel...different. They are scared and confused; intelligence is nothing new, but it feels strange to be so sentient.

One of them, the greatest and oldest, seems to notice you, it turns towards you and knows. It speaks with clicks.

"We were animals, we were fools, we were content with our lives; now with this knowledge you have cursed us! How can we live like this?! God or not, this is not right! We were happy godling, why curse us with this?"

Your shocked by this, you thought that they would be happy to be sentient.

Good for us players I guess...

I guess this one's the only one still alive because Johnnyfalcon (or whatever) offered too many options at one time and the other one was similiar and that the map was less easy to edit.

A perfect building, a perfect location, and an extremely expensive price. Well, Locanil thought, they're would'nt be a school for some time. Best to just continue teaching . Perhaps they could be taught a bit of history or theology...They could also use their new found skills to get a bit of money...


Actions- Continue teaching in archives. Advise students to use their skills to get some writing or reading work.

((Really? From what I remember, a small business is supposed to cost 5 ducats....Does the school count as a business or am I wrong?))
