So who's alive right now?  Also who's "overseer"?  Is that me or you?  I think I accidentally tagged my guy as overseer despite it not being my turn (if i DID accidentally tag myself go ahead and remove the title).

Every panel from the units screen ^_^ I'd remove the tag but as I said your the new ruler in the last update there's little point

You might want to post about this in the thread we've got especially for promoting kickstarters, might be that more forumites will check there. Also, I don't really understand why you're promoting the Newgrounds brand so heavily, since the creators of this project didn't make all of those things (did they make any of them?)

I'm considering the projects creators a part of Newgrounds as I'm also considering the other contributions a part of Newgrounds, it's not a single entity but a collective of artists (If you visit Newgrounds at the moment they've dedicated a fair amount of advertising space to the kickstarter). Anyway cheers for the link I still want to keep this thread open so as to facilitate more focused conversation though I'll also post in Dullard's thread.

1st Galena

Once again I'm up and walking, healthier than ever and with my dear love by my side we shall slay all those in our way! Well I'll do most the work, Ifeno will probably just try and steal the credit.



26th Limestone

This will likely be my last entry, for soon as I've finished my tankard of ale I'll be grabbing the nearest sword, hobbling out of bed and doing battle with foul demons so that the others may reach safety.

How did this come to be? I thought I saw Ifeno die and in my bloodlust charged a swarm of flying beasties finding myself in hospital once again, these devils were more daring than the last, every few days past I'll hear screams from the courtyard and see the rotten husks of dwarfs dragged into a bed beside mine, I ordered Cellmonk to create a new path to the caverns and lead those who are still able and healthy to seek refuge there, rumour is Ifeno survived his ordeal and thus I have decreed he is to lead after I am gone.

Xeres trudged onwards, his prospects were not terribly high, he'd been selected to be one of Poolstockades founding members, to arrive in the Autumn, of course it was mandatory for he was perfectly content living in the vast mountain homes, who wouldn't be? A measly outpost far gone from civilization was little to his tastes.

8th Sandstone

This is ridiculous, my first sight of the place was a pitiful mudstone wall, mudstone? Mudstone isn't fit for a halfling! But no that's not enough to ruin my day, just as I'm walking to the front gate an arm waves from a hole in the floor "psh, in here", guess what? The 3 fools stuck down there were supposedly the only survivors of a zombie rampage, I'm stuck with my dour companions and two batshit insane dwarfs who've taken to hiding in the caverns, best make the most of it. I've not had any experience but with luck I can become a skilled doctor and have a ward to myself, uncle says I have the looks of a dwarf with natural talent.

How about the founder passes a fort along and you then have 10 in-game days to screw it up as badly as possible and then it's returned to the founder, would sure make for an interesting challenge, why don't you upload a few forts? I would myself but I've deleted them all >_<

Well the world was genned 2 weeks ago with what was the newest version at the time.  Not sure if that answers your question but I don't know the exact version # off the top of my head.  Any current version should work though.

0.34.11, I tried it in 0.34.10 but it didn't work, also Ifeno, it turns out your dwarf is alive, there's just a zombie Ifeno and a dwarf Ifeno which share the same last name

HAH! The overseer that has the heart to kill this guy is evil through and through, there's a dozen pages of this going on in the caverns, just noticed it.



E:  The rat eventually suffocated and came back from the dead, he gets along quite well with Wyrm Gold now
E2: Also it's worth mentioning all of the 7 starting dwarfs have made at least 1 kill now

16th Slate

Had an awfully close call today, got bowled over by one of the rodent things, lost the grip on my sword too but I showed the bugger who he was dealing with! Shot it a good half dozen times.



20th Hematite

Gah, I have an awful headache, you'd've thought a month and a half in a hospital bed asleep would stop that one but nope, last thing I can remember is thrusting my blade into a charging bull's head, apparently one of the others found me and set me to bed. On the plus side as I stumbled out I could see the fort was coming along well, should give me safe boundaries with which to practice my crutch-walking.


2nd Malachite

Dammit, I really should have learnt, once again I'm in a damp bed, I'll be dead soon at this rate, the only shining light in my life is dear Ifeno, his presence is one of the few things that can calm me these days.





11th Malachite

I really cannot get a frigging break around here, a troll came up from the caverns, luckily Wyrm Gold was nearby and called for the others though I have no idea where he is now, I asked Ifeno about him and he didn't reply, not exactly reassuring.
