Found the giant wall... going around it, to the east... it's night...

Noone is allowed to say anything until they are out of beta.

The reason?

Jealousy.

I don't think it was a problem with your server. I played with some other fellow who was having no such issues. I don't think it's lag - it's FPS :(

By the way, my IL2 squad is VT-13, or CVW-13 or just "13th". Either way, the point is it works in IL2. There's plenty of names like that, 78th, 92nd, 337th, 303, JG1/III and the like. And they all extend to something bigger. So, you'd have 78th Fighter Group, 92nd Bomber Group, etc. 12th or B12 works just fine, with a longer, more descriptive name used elsewhere (forums, etc).

Also, is there any concrete information on map size? That determines whether we need a logistics battalion. I see others also like this idea (convoys, etc) :)

Also, does anyone else get sporadic fps drops? The game hiccups for like 10 seconds and then goes back to normal for me. It does this every couple of minutes.

B12 or Bay12 or Bay 12. There is no alternative. Except, of course, "The Twelfth Bay". No silly bracketing symbols and we are not constantly on fire.
Indeed.

+1, except I don't have a key, so perhaps +0 or +0.5. Brackets such as [B12] are acceptable.

!!Bay12!! just sounds histerical (as in OHMAHGAHD histerical, not as in histerically fun).

Darwin Bots can be kind of like that. There are similar games and/or variants that I don't recall as well now. But basically you drop these little "bots" that have 1-4 limbs with 1-3 joints and they have genes that define their behaviour. They try to move to get to food, but most of them are just terrible at it. Those that ARE able to move eventually gather enough food to be able to mate, and have offspring. A few dozens of generations later you should have a uniform population of highly able bots :)

It's interesting, shows evolution in a small timespan, and overall it's interesting to see the different generations and uniformisation of genes.

I think there was something similar but in code. Code that would replicate and copy itself, etc, but I don't recall the name.

Wait, so I was using Ank's thread! I "struck the earth!" and everything, assuming nobody had done anything in the new map, and spent the afternoon doing that. Turns out everything was already happening without me? *sniffles*

I am saddened. Heavily. Especially since the place I found was pretty darned awesome :(

Title: Earthstriker?
From Portugal/Europe

I am now at -1019, +361 on top of a waterlily, in the middle of a huge lake. Something has gone wrong.

Oh, according to mods the map has just started. I will find an adequate place to strike the earth!

--- edit ---

Strike the Earth!

The Dwarven Homes' surveyor has found a mountainous greeting in the form of a natural entrance. The entrance already shows coal. It is promising. Could this be a start?

There is now a super deep stairway that leads to a natural underground cave with plenty of resources and unexplored depths... and basic utilities and working materials. I guess I can take everything on my back and abandon my new wonderful home.

And any ideas about being on the receiving end of a Revoke Title plot?

I'm the Duke of several places in Portugal, and the King of Portugal wants to revoke my County of Évora. That's where my dynasty comes from, and I've been upgrading it TO THE MAX since the beginning of the game. I'm really loath to loose it. On the other hand, I can't beat the King militarily, and I don't see any way out since I don't have that much money. I've tried assassinating the plot backer, or gifting them and convincing them not to back the plot. But the King immediately finds someone else, and I just run out of options :(

*gasp*

Confirmed! I don't see it advertised anywhere, but I bought the CK2+Vic2+SotS+whatever bundle and it just applied the promotion. It cost me the whopping $0!

Unfortunately, it doesn't offer a Steam code :( I don't have Divine Wind on my Steam installation, and apparently I ain't gonna get it this way. *sniffles*
