Basically, it's the ethic which decides whether a race elects leaders based on pure strength, or based on other factors.
You could probably find a better name for it, though.

Having this set to ACCEPTABLE would make a society where things like Necromancers are considered fine, whilst setting it to UNTHINKABLE would make them think of such as horrible.

They're not.
They think in a VERY different way than humans.

Why do humans not take a side in Dwarf versus Elf conflicts?

Not that children dwarves care about being naked, but I don't think a nude psycho running around is exactly kid friendly...
