It's not a bug.
I'll give you a rundown, although it might not be that accurate, givin my memory.
Basically, Dwarves take over a tower or other Goblin site in world gen.
Now, since Dwarves don't promote slavery, they just let the guys go (Either that or kill 'em).
Some of them decide to stick around, so now there are Goblins in your population.
Eventually, one of 'em becomes king.
At least, that's how I remember it.
Probably not too accurate.

This sound like a pretty good suggestion. Special artfacts should be quite rare though, maybe 20% chance instead of normal artifact.
Even 20% seems more Uncommon than Rare.
Maybe 1%-5%

Hello, all.
Now, it seems in the most recent update (Either that, or I've been lucky. Really lucky.) That the more Ores a place has, the less Flux.
Obviously, this posses a problem to my embarks.
So, here's the choices:
A. Choose an area with good Ores, and import Flux.
B. Choose an area with good Flux, and import Ores.

What's your opinion?

Minecart machine-gun?  I like this idea.
I'm excited for the computing possibilities minecarts raise.  If they trigger pressure plates, that is.
If I read right, that is a yes.
They will Trigger Plates.

Which says if a Goblin General/Ruler WANTED slaves, they'd pop up.
So it could vary from Siege to Siege wether they bring Fodder or not.

Perhaps we could make a Minecart Gatling Gun of sorts.
Alright, Imagine this circuit, but bigger:

C+=-C==== g
Where C is a corner, = is stright rail, + is a booster, - is a stopper, and g is a Goblin.
You could get a number of carts going around this loop, and with the boosters, they would keep circuiting, but with the slowers, they wouldn't fly off corners.
Now turn off the slower near the corner leading towards the track towards the goblin, and the carts should fly onto that track, and subsequently into the goblin.
