That bear trap looks decidedly unpleasant.
It's just smiling at you, harmlessly inviting you to pry open those metal jaws.

Personally, I would want to become a tree man. Don't even know why. Maybe it's because then I would reproduce by throwing samaras everywhere.

I still don't quite know what the background this game has, other than the little I've pieced together. I'm actually rather disappointed that the other warframes on have their shop descriptions for codex entries.

Also if I may make a suggestion, look into replacing your braton-MK1 with a normal braton ASAP. It's a lot better and a well modded braton can easily make it to the end game, moreso now that armor has been nerfed. To boot you can just buy it with credits, you don't need to build it. One of the few weapons you can do that with.
... There's a difference between Braton mkI and just straight up Braton? Boy, that's news to me. On the upside, I just managed to start crafting a Bo, so that'll be a little thematically amusing with excalibur :P. I also have Rhino chassis blueprints, so that'll probably be my next project.

Also, one last thing. I don't really understand clans and the dojo. The MOTD says something about the great hall, but I have no clue how to go there.

I hardly care about setting my loadout up in a right way, because I'm still using excalibur and stock weapons (other than lato vandal and cronus). I'm currently grinding up enough credits to build a Bo, because I was stupid and spent the majority of my money trying to figure out what transmuting mods did. Also, anyone use Rhino? His abilities seem pretty good, and I'd probably setting up as a tank, because I keep getting downed during boss fights.

I have a horrible feeling that this is going to end up going the way of SWTOR - essentially a single-player IP that has been shoe-horned into an MMO whilst managing to lose most of the character that made it an engaging single-player game.

Things like TES should have stayed as they are. There are very few satisfying single-player experiences left that don't then tack on, or attempt to create, some kind of multi-player mode where you have to interact with imbeciles.

Single player experiences can't charge a monthly fee, or more common these days can't have a cash shop to sell hats.
Dead space 3 begs to differ on the latter of those statements.

Hey, could I also get an invite to the clan? My username is malicious_pear (what I was thinking at the time is a mystery to even me.)

The hat idea is a good idea, yeah. MAybe it could generate automatically based on their jobs?

Eg lumberjacks have a cap. Hunters have a feather.
People with both lumberjacking and hunting enabled have a feathered cap.

Would that work?
I was thinking more like the uniforms in DF, myself. Like, define the fishermen to have a straw hat or something, and then all your fishermen will put on that type of hat. Maybe the highest enabled skill determines what hat they wear.

I'd also be interested.

Also, this isn't quite the same, but it might interest you all the same, Pufferfish. A guy makes a small forge out of a soup can, some plaster-stuff and a blowtorch, and uses that to make a knife. I'd liek to try something like that myself.

Aw, you beat me to it. I remembered watching that video a while ago today at school (why, I'll never know). If I was truly more interested in metal working than I am, I would try to make one. Seeing other people's stuff is the next best thing.

Maybe I'm just in the wrong mindset for this game. I'll give it another go tomorrow, when my energy is recharged.

I started off my game as Stephen. There's not a whole lot to do as a chef, is there? I've generally been cooking, getting dirty, using all my movement to get to the shower, showering, then lying down. The recharge rate is abysmal. Even if it was 2 per cycle each, it would make things way nicer. I'm afraid to explore anything other than the kitchen, because I don't want to be sitting around in the storage rooms, waiting to regain my strength. At least Stephen has the excuse of looking like a fat bastard to explain why he takes 6 hours to get from the shower to his station.

edit: I'm sure things do get more exciting when things start to happen, but scouring the place for an apron doesn't count.

Are these monster going to be visible? If yes for any of them, add something to discourage staring at it. The less you see of something, the scarier it is. Something like blurring, wibbly wobbly camera, etc.

Also, while I'm at it, a cool type of monster would be one that can cause hallucinations, like moving shadows and hearing noises. (I think someone already had this idea.)
edit: poltergeists. tossing potted plants around makes any game more enjoyable.

Ah, yes. A little fiddling with the colors and increasing the saturation has made it better.
edit: with the mention of Game of Thrones, how could I not make a weirwood colored tree man?

I present: the tree man, much like the troll last time.
Spoiler: Spoiled, to save space (click to show/hide)
Clothes (made of grass, of course!) are on the list of things to do, but making all those lines burnt me out for now. Also, his coloring is a little off, though I can't put my finger on what needs fixing.

An Abomination monster is potentially planned actually (although that's already what the Jabberwock is).
*snip*
Yes, I can see it now. A jabberwock made of Jabberwocks.
