I, a female dwarf, with my beloved companion, female goblin, slew night creature. I saved her life, because she was atacked and fall down because of pain. When she was uncorsiuous i killd beast and hide body into my backpack. She didn't know about what i did, so phantom rumors spraeding bug is fixed. She reacted for rumors correctly too. Evidence:

Sadly, whole song family looks like dead. :(

It's basing on rumors, if you killd a lot of fameous things, like night creatures who was bugging helmet, They will be respecting you and They will feel fear.
But you must spread rumors...
Rumors must go to lord, just spread them in his ranks and wait some time, They will spread rummors to lord too.
There is option in talking system, i am not english spreaker so i can remember it completly wrong, but if you will start braging your previous killed enemies (if They will not be a peasants, but night creatures, scary beasts etc), he will feel fear/respect too. Sometimes, he will start fleeing, sometimes he will attack you, so you must kick his ass using non-lethal atacks.

Just beating everything doesn't work, it will increase conflict to no quater, but They fear will be not rising, and world is not react correctly agains too much violence.

But... After new update this can be not longer true, but i am convinced, now there is more fear causing factors, like corpses (but not animals, just sentient creatures like humans/koblds/elfs/dwarfs/goblins). And some beings are overhelmed by They feelings and They stop feeling anything.

PS: If you will bring too much corpses, lords can start tantruming...

Does anyone have any ideas on how tribute demands are calculated? I've made some successfully but I'm not sure why they were successful. I've figured out that no amount of torture will force a lord to acquiesce.
It depends how much he is scared by you.

Interesting, i never saw that dialogue.
I gave a try with a lady in a castle that had "army marching" troubles, but i can't seem to generate the "come with me to safety" answer.

I wonder if there are some requirements in relationship with a specific individual  to have the possiblity of giving such this answer.

I've been playing with a peasant to test how weak character could fare and surprisingly he is doing rather well (thanks to stealth and whipping enemies in the hand from behind, making them lose their weapon and lose consciousness in the same time) and cleared a couple of time the "bandit in town" problems, got a nice iron whip and iron shield from looting the corpses (that helped kill more bandit gobs).

I even got accepted as a heartperson (didn't thought only killing 5 bandit goblins would be enough, strange as past "demigod" characters did a lot more but still weren't deemed "worthy" ?) , and finally got 1 soldier to accept to join me (before the heartperson promotion, they were refusing)
I allready was hearthperson. Now is a lot easier to be one, just find a courple people who will start fight with you and kill them/disarm them. :)
I just asked her for problems and i had this as third option.

I today figureout how marching army task are working - more or less - i headed to hemlet, where army was heading and asked lady about her problems, she said me about army marching there (from neighbors hemlet, but i didn't see any army) and she asked me to find related to her person, when i asked her if she want join.

I have some questions. Can I in newest version of the game claim towns? If yes I have another question. Can I have more than one town and can I have entire kingdom?
You can claim towns and helmets, by making insuraction or just killing other lords. You can lead multiple groups, but only one group is ruling in site, other are "fighting" for it more or less agresive. Remember to have hearthperson in every town and good reputation, or other groups will try to take off you from your seat. But you can force other lords to pay you tribute, without conquering They lands.

Ive found that necrosis often leads to bleeding as well and it might not stop until you drop.
Game calculate infection progress by decreasing blood level in infected creature. Bloody enough person have more chances to have good roll to stop it. :)

After I killed a long range (it was REALLY long range) goblin patrol that was right at a fort, I reported the deaths and when I asked about opinions, the bookkeeper said that I was a killer because I killed one of the goblins and unhinged because I attacked someone. I should note that the patrol was at lethal stance with me (and my two companions who died quickly).

Not sure if something's off with that.
One of goblins yielded? You know, meybe it was only goblin, but this goblin was a person. If there will be rumors about killed by you persons, but person didnt know or just doesnt think killed by you person was bad, They will call you a killer. Just because you are killer.

I created new world for new version (in fact, i choose one from 21 generated worlds), and i discovered how broken realations are. During normal travel i found group of humans leading some slaved elf, i rescued him just by talking to him. He left group, They was not even angry...

He had sister, slave too, which i found, but when i come, she didn't reveal her name and first elf doesn't react for her. Strange, but even more strange is fact, They looks like They forgot about They relation...

What is the best way to build a slow and space/resource-efficient repeater? Say to trigger an event about daily?


1. Lever with pull orders seted to repeat in front of dinning hall, with a lot of good mechanisms (to bump in room value).
2. pressplate in your fort entrance or other crowdered place.
3. Not that easy like two above, place minecart onto looped tracks, who will be pushing pressplate.

I had similar situation, it was hilarious. But i was forced to deconstruct part of my roof, then deconstruct wagon nad build stairs to floor.
