DF Adventure Mode Discussion / Re: What's going on in your adventure?

I thought quest's for night trolls only counted as one rather then the whole family.
It depends. If every member of this family killd anybody from this civilization, every member will give you fame. You can exploit it when two human fractions are at war, and you will come with companions from one, slain some peasants, then kill your companions. You will got a lot of fame... :)

When i am lazy just making lines like http://dwarffortresswiki.org/images/0/05/Line_bedroom.png and every room have door, bed, cabinet and chest. You can fast design "hive", just one shift + direction and for two rooms and there one wide path beetwen them :)

Doors can be bashed or lockpicked in Adventure mode. What's about doors locked by mechanizms?

It's never happened to me before (despite my best efforts), but I think that in the current version your adventure mode dorfs can migrate to your forts.
Yes, they can, if you retire them in spot belonging to your own fraction. Do you see my point? You can't retire in dwarves spots without moding. :)

It's safe to have your archers hold a baby, right?
If They are in safe cover and there are not legendary bowmens, they're quite okey.

Yeah, but if pet will die, and you will have Butcher dead animal in your butcher shop, pets corpse will be buthered. Then... yeah, dwarf will be really sad when he will eat his friend...

No, because pets can't be butchered when dead. They can only be butchered if they are set to be slaughtered, which requires them to be alive. People's pets cannot be set to slaughter, only stray animals.
What version are you using? I am nearly sure my maddwarf butchered dead pets.

I am always using spears, i just like them like hell. When i defeat some spearmens, they spears are always mine in quiver from some bowman. They are far better to throwing than stones, they have good penetration and i killd once dragon by throwing spear in his head.

Oh, and i am offten starting as outsider... :)

3 Male Cats are not always good choice. In game, cats live 10-20 years. If you're running long-living-fort it can be a problem.

Because problems with power supply i was not playing too much, but i discovered minecarts from wood are extremly expensive.
Naked female goblins are now living in their cages above my main gate. My prison fort (with 33 goblins, two kobolds, some elfs and 2 womans and one man, dworf was executed for treason) have safe perimeter. Dead corpses are striking down in parts in my trade airlock: wood spike balls are nasty weapon and it's very good for trading if wood is not a problem (i have allready 70 beds and pop cap seted to 64, so i don't need more wood). All corpses are hauled to 'pit of death' in minecart. The same with remains.

Every month 3 from 10 not trained marksdwarfs are patroling walls, 3 from other squad are protecting main entrance from outside because flying dead birds. There is everyone in some squad, but nobody have in shelude any training, just because i need armor for them. If they're training in free time, it's okey for me, but first 7 don't have even baracks, because there is my brewer and cook. They have some metal armor from goblinite.

Minecarts are hard to managment, but awesome!

You dwarves are more immune to drama after losing some close to them dwarvs. The same with players... you can see "doesn't care about anything anymore" though in they minds.

Breaking bones by blunt weapon don't cause bleeding, but some wresling moves do.

I don't agree with you. If you have a lot of mechanizm and stuff connected to your dwarfy traps, floodgate is better for managment purpose. Floodgate is related to floods, doors to passages for creatures.

It happend to me too, but i think dwarf must be very strong. I think it was mentioned in "What's going on in your fort?".
