Turn 5

Note: If you miss enough turns for me to notice, you may disappear from the below list. If this happens and you want to keep playing, just remind me of the most recent turn that you played on.

King Zultan
Level 1 Zebra
3/5 HP
1/5 Exp.
Dice: D4.

Roll: 1
You are too full to eat any more slimes and at least one of those slimes is evidently not safe for consumption by zebras! You lose 1 HP.

---

Knightwing64
Level 1
5/5 HP
0/5 Exp.
Dice: D4.

Roll: 1
You go to get your share of the loot only to find out that the much closer Fluffe9911 already looted them all! And in the time it took for you to look for something to killsteal, you could probably have killed something on your own!

---

Egan_BW
Level 1 Tiny Purple T-Rex
4/5 HP
0/5 Exp.
Dice: D4.

Roll: 1
You go around in circles, but for some reason are unable to find a tree. Now you feel tired!

---

Strif3
Level 1 Mold
2/5 HP
0/5 Exp.
Dice: D4.

Roll: 2
You try to infect the Infinite Wall of Slime and deal 1 damage. A Regular Slime falls off the wall with you attached to it.

---

A_Curious_Cat
Level 1 Machinist
DEAD/5 HP
0/5 Exp.
Slime Coins: 1
Dice: D4.

Roll: 3
You pick up a Slime Coin. As you are level 1, you only have a D4 which cannot possibly roll a 5 because it does not even have a 5 on it. Anyway, you whack the Infinite Wall of Slime to deal 4 damage. A backpack slime is loosed from the wall!

The Hammer Slime hits you back for 2 damage, and you are now DEAD!

You appear in a room, and see a skeleton guy wearing a black robe. It has a nametage that says "Hello. My name is DEATH". It seems excited to see you. There are a lot of miscellaneous board games and stuff arranged on some large shelves on the wall. A few feet to your left is a door with the word "LIFE" written on it.

---

IronyOwl
Level 1 Tree Slime
5/5 HP
2/5 Exp.

---

Nirur Torir
Level 1 Rogue
5/5 HP
2/5 Exp.
Slime Coins: 0
Swag: Ice Cream Knife
Dice: D4

Roll: 2
You haggle with Fish Sugerpants over the price. On one hand, the price appears to be missing which implies that it is free, but on the other hand the fact that its price tag says "Slime Coins", like, with an 's' implies that it has to be multiple Slime Coins because of the plural, though the amount is still unclear. In the end you manage to agree to purchase it for 2 Slime Coins and add it to your Swag.

Grimtusk Bonegrinder reviews the reports, and decides which places his soldiers will be able to fight most effectively. He proposes an idea to the Unity General; to have a unit of Goblin Wizards cast a spell of invisibility on Allion & Hura. The enemies have adapted to the Glintscale Serpent's presence; but what would happen if they could no longer see them coming from miles away?

318
Su Lin
'Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but the search for what's missing makes it stronger.'

Wait hold on dial it back a bit. What's all this about a haunted fountain with a smiling cube statue that giggles every once in a while? That seems like the sort of thing that should have been mentioned earlier.

The presence of one or possibly several spirits had some very large implications. If someone died on this ship, then why weren't they resurrected? Su Lin approaches the statue and meditates in an attempt to communicate with whatever is at the statue on a spiritual level.

Action 1: Su Lin checks the ship for anything else that may have been missed.
Action 2: Su Lin attempts to communicate with the haunted statue
Action 3: Su Lin activates Soothing Song

323
Welcome to the world of "You can't defeat the Infinite Wall of Slime, but you can level grind on it!". Its perhaps not the most inspired world name you heard, but it is what it is.

You are a level 1 entity. Being level 1 means that you have 5 HP and can act using 1d4! Being an entity means that you are a thing with distinct and independent existence.

Any roll of 1 will result in a failure, and any roll that is the highest number that your dice can roll will be a critical success. Better dice will roll less critical successes, but the higher the number, the more powerful the critical success will be!

You are currently in the main area. It is sort of like an empty field or something. About 20 meters away to your north is an infinitely large wall of slime. Fortunately it has a distinct edge, which is about 20 meters away from you. The wall is all colors, but it is more blue than other colors.

You also see two doors behind you. They are not connected to any walls or anything which is kind of unusual for a door. One of them is labelled "Shop" and the other one is labelled "Death", the latter of which does not have a doorknob which seems like it would make it kind of hard to open.

The Infinite Wall of Slime has Infinite HP. What do you do?

324
Grimtusk rolls his eyes at Ted.

Grimtusk's actual proposal is to return most of the stuff that would be missed, as well as the civilians. As for the other stuff, we should keep it. Drezzen will just have to find a way to get by without honeycombs, insectoid slime molds and nuisance birds.

Event 3: Return the cultural artifacts and civilians to Drezzen, but use the other stuff to assist our research projects.

325
It is to my understanding that we are the council, and it has already been revealed to the council. Voting to reveal it to ourselves after having already revealed it to ourselves is kind of silly.

326
Grimtusk considers the options. He sticks to what his infantry is good at, opting for yet more light infantry. He also takes a second wizard unit. He elects to abstain from the Nawra vote.

Regarding the loot... While Grimtusk is hesitant to forfeit the stuff he nonetheless elects to bring this to the Council's attention. The enemy materials discovered amongst the loot seem to be of too much importance to be regarded as disposable evidence; the most valuable of them being the food. The benefits it would have to the research department would be obvious.

Grimtusk notes that the most common unit types used by the Grand Army is infantry, so it makes the most sense to provide them with upgrades. The enemy has been most effective at medium range, and Grimtusk has some ideas on how to counter this.

For light infantry, the inclusion of small explosives would enable them to either deal heavy damage to hostile forces trying to chase them or at the very least make it easier to get back outside of their effective range. Being in a light formation would also mean a prematurely detonated bomb would not result in a devastating chain reaction. As a bonus it would also let them flush out enemy forces taking cover.

For the less mobile Line Infantry, while armor has largely fallen out of favor with the invention of gunpowder; the enemy attacks tend to favor quantity over quality. Armor designed to resist puncture damage would be effective against their conventional weapons and their artillery, making our Line Infantry much harder to break.

Event 1: Grimtusk takes 2 Light Infantry and 1 Wizard.
Event 2: Grimtusk abstains from the vote.
Event 3: Grimtusk reveals the loot to the Council.
Event 4: Timed Explosives for Light Infantry AND Puncture resistent armor for Line Infantry
Event 5: Grimtusk votes to research how to better kill the invaders.

327
Su Lin
'Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but copies will always fall short of the original.'

So that happened. Fortunately the ship's resurrection device works as well as was advertised.

Su Lin considers what happened. Contrary to the narrator's claim, Su Lin is aware of the fact that anything with an infinite complexity would take an infinite amount of time to create; which means that the ship did not 3-D print his soul. This in turn means the fact that Su Lin still has the same connection to Ornos is proof that he is still the same person because if there were two Su Lins with the same mind at any given time then Ornos would have visibly changed due to having twice the belief, and if Su Lin ceased to be then so too would Ornos as Su Lin is their only believer. That that Narrator!

These revelations could enable Su Lin to take more more risks then he otherwise would dare; but Su Lin decided that he should no longer attempt to advance his cultivation on the ship. If Su Lin was more powerful at the time that he exploded, he might have compromised the ship's integrity and his current form of immortality requires the ship to be in one piece.

Su Lin also considers something. If the ship is able to 3-D print things like clothing, then would it also be capable of printing things like a space suit?

Action 1: Su Lin resolves the paranoia thing through the use of logic.
Action 2: Su Lin goes to clean up any mess that he made upon exploding.
Action 3: Su Lin does a diagnostic on the ship to see what, if anything, was damaged by the explosion.

328
Who are we still waiting for?

330
Su Lin
'The vastness of space reminds us that our problems are small in comparison, and our potential is infinite.'

Having heard the narrator explaining what everyone is doing, Su Lin learned that some of his allies had got into a fight. Without a space suit, Su Lin couldn't really do much about it. Also, Lemmy apparantly swiped Ornos from Su Lin's head while he was meditating; which gives Su Lin an idea or two...

Su Lin also has a suggestion for Velklin. If they can grant minor wishes, perhaps they could use that ability to procure some heavenly treasure, cultivation technique, training facilities or otherwise use it to bolster our abilities?

Action 1: Su Lin casts Soothing Song, enabling Ornos to help Lemmy and Burt.
Action 2: Su Lin suggests for the group to use one of their actions to Believe in Ornos.
Action 3: Su Lin cycles his Qi in an attempt to improve his Mana stat
