Grimtusk Bonegrinder delivers the following response to Everett. "I suppose I could spare one unit of Light Infantry to Battlefield 1, and put them under your command for the duration of the combat."

Grimtusk does not appear to object to Everett's proposed usage of Vekkia's units.

332
I am pretty sure that there are no humans in this world.

333
Grimtusk Bonegrinder considers the situation.

"I have a plan for Battlefield 2, and my own forces will be sufficient to perform it. I'll have my Wizard brigade use their magic to conjure forth a northbound snowstorm, which will slow down their retreat, mask our presence, and reduce the effectiveness of their fly riders. Naturally my own soldiers will have been equipped with winter gear in advance. From there, my light infantry will catch up to them before they get too far and use their superior mobility to gun them down from outside of their effective range. My dragoon unit will scout ahead to warn us about when the enemy's northern forces get too close for comfort."

"If all goes to plan, my soldiers will grab the loot and run back home with it, as we goblins do. If things take a turn for the worse, I'll send my undead unit on a suicide attack and retreat with whatever swag I can."

Grimtusk then listens to see what the other generals have to say.

'Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.'

Not a whole lot of lucid contemplation really goes on while you are asleep. Guess Su Lin will have to settle for non-lucid contemplation.

Action 1: Sleep
Action 2: Dream
Action 3: Snore

Are we waiting on anyone else?

Su Lin
'Intent is the chisel by which one carves into the stone of the universe, and one's Will is the hammer.'

Su Lin wasn't entirely clear on whether or not it would work, but he figured that he didn't have any better ideas. Su Lin spends some time working out at a high intensity to hopefully bolster his physical abilities.

Mildly amused, Su Lin makes a fist. He has his weapon right here! No need to search for weapons for Su Lin!

Action 1: Su Lin works out in an attempt to increase his Strength
Action 2: Su Lin works out in an attempt to increase his Speed
Action 3: Su Lin works out in an attempt to increase his Endurance

The Igwam Tribe

The Igwam are mortified to find out that foraging tools are much much less effective than they initially thought. Regardless, they create the things. It would be ridiculous not to at this point.

One of the Igwam prays to Fyla. It is not immediately clear why.

Igwam Civilian 1 crafts a Wooden Foraging Tools at the cost of 3 Wood.
Igwam Civilian 2 researches "Fishing" for 1 Progress
Igwam Civilian 3 researches "Fishing" for 1 Progress
Igwam Civilian 4 researches "Fishing" for 1 Progress
Igwam Civilian 5 researches "Fishing" for 1 Progress
Igwam Civilian 6 prays to Fyla to generate 1 FP.

Grimtusk Bonegrinder reviews the reports and considers the situation.

First of all, reinforcements! While it is not unheard of for Grobbleshire Goblins to be able to take on elite infantry roles, most of them are categorized as a Light Infantry and for good reason. Staying still on the battlefield is a good way for a Goblin to get killed.

Goblins are also able to ride smaller mounts than the humans that make up the bulk of the alliance, which gives their Dragoons some mount options that wouldn't be suitable for a human. In this case: Wolves. They are not quite as fast as a horse, but they are more maneuverable in terrain such as a forest, and their nature of group hunting and loyalty to their pack makes them easy to train with few goblin casualties; and they can even join in combat after being dismounted!

And of course, Grimtusk has connections with the goblin arcane acadmies and was able to recruit a unit of Wizards. These tricky spellcasters are capable of all sorts of magic, and will make it exponentially harder for the invaders to predict the Grand Army's tactics.

The next order of business was the matter concerning the warships. Without a map, there's no way to be sure but Gobbleshire wouldn't have warships if they didn't think they needed them. Even if the enemy doesn't have naval units, this level of firepower would also come in handy for defending coastal cities, which tend to be of high logistical value in any war.

Concering the unity. Are their cavalry better than that of Grobbleshire? Grimtusk decides that an argument can perhaps be made that: Yes. They are. Hm. Grimtusk Bonegrinder decides to approve this one.

And finally came the subject of research. While the reproduction habits of the enemy is perhaps of some interest, knowing this does not change the objective of what actually needs to be done about them. Much more sensible to research how to kill the bugs instead, anything such as the location of their vital organs, structural weak points in their chitin, or substances that can poison them. Things like that are what we really need to know!

Event 1: Grimtusk Bonegrinder receives 2 Units of Light Infantry, 1 Unit of Dragoons and 1 Unit of Wizards.
Event 2: Grimtusk Bonegrinder will take the Ship of the Line.
Event 3: Grimtusk votes in favor of additional support for the Unity
Event 4: Grimtusk votes to Research how to better kill the Invaders

339
Should there be a description for Ship of the Line? I don't see that unit type on the first post.

The Differentstein Communality

The Differenstein exists now. As the game's update speed increases, the amount of effort that will go into their flavor text will improve.

Worker1 'Knight' - Strength, Protective - Unintelligent: Forages at I7 for 2 food.
Worker2 'Scout' - Flying, Camouflage - Unproductive: Hunts at I7 for 3 food.
Worker3 'Racer' - Speed, Agility - Blind: Prays to The Green Muse at I7 for +1FP
Worker4 'Hippo' - Swimming, Territorial - Ignorant: Hunts for fish at I7 for 4 food.
Worker5 'Squirrel' - Speed, Climbing - Hibernating: Forages at I7 for 2 food.

(It is to my understanding that Worker2 would have a +1 for hunting due to camoflage, and a -1 for unproductive for a net result of 1d3. It is also to my understanding that Worker4 has a +1 for fish hunting as it would qualify as a swimming action, and that the other food rolls are an unmodified 1d3.)

Su Lin
'Practice what you preach, and preach what you practice.'

Su Lin felt confident that Ornos held the key to breaking the bottleneck in his cultivation, but it seemed like the resurrected god was not yet at the point where it could be effectively conversed with yet.

Evidently the integrity of the god was based on how many people believed in it. Who else could believe in it? Su Lin already had a lead. The narrator should definitely be capable of believing in it! After all, the narrator already was the one who described everything about Ornos, and thus already witnessed proof of its existence!

It also occurs to Su Lin that in addition to Qi, he also have a non-zero amount of Mana as well; though he does not currently have a use for it. Su Lin notes what Velklin just did, and decides to try it as well.

Action 1: Su Lin convinces the narrator to believe in Ornos.
Action 2: Su Lin attempts to transfer some of his Mana to Velklin
Action 3: Su Lin meditates.

Grimtusk Bonegrinder has no complaints about Veikka Puomi's assignment. Probably because it was Grimtusk's idea in the first place.

Battlefield 1: 2 Units of Gobbleshire Light Infantry and General Grimtusk Bonegrinder.

The strategy is to advance in a sparse formation until they confirm the presence of enemy forces, at this point they will attempt to strike the enemy from outside their opponent's effective range and periodically fall back whenever a powerful group of enemies begins to approach, ideally to hills and forests that they can use to extend their range or take cover.

One unit will be at the front looking for opportunities to harass enemy forces and generally being extremely obnoxious, while the other unit will circle the Tensali artillery and move with them to prevent hostile forces from overwhelming them.

Grimtusk himself will have the logistics team deliver the corpses of combatants to him whenever they can do so safely in order to convert them to undead under his command.

343
Grimtusk Bonegrinder considers the war tablestump, and contemplates the situation.

"This is what I am currently thinking..."

"On the first battlefield, our primary objective should be to slow down the enemy forces and deny them access to resources. To achieve this, I would suggest a combination of defensive and offensive tactics. We can set up defensive positions and establish chokepoints, and have our artillery rain fire on the enemy forces. We can also use hit and run tactics to harass the enemy and slow down their advancement. On this front, I would recommend deploying Veikka Puomi with their high mobility artillery, as well as my own Light Infantry. Admiral Everett would also be a natural fit for this front, both assisting with raiding and countering the enemies own Winged Hussars."

"As for the second battlefield, we should make use of both natural terrain and fortifications to hold off the enemy. On this front I would recommend stationing the Line Infantry of Western Prince Ted Yamamoto, who are well equipped to defend a location due to their high accuracy, and the drakes can wreck havoc on enemy siege units. At this location I would also advise deploying Great Unity Allion & Hura, who would be instrumental at breaking the most concentrated siege attempts."

Su Lin
'Even the mightiest of gods must yield to the cycle of time, for all things move in an eternal dance of creation and destruction.'

Su Lin wasn't entirely sure what to do now. He wasn't entirely sure what would happen as a result of his meditations but it certainly wasn't this. The presence of Ornos brought countless questions to Su Lin's mind, such as 'How does one care for a newly resurrected god anyway?'.

Ornos was a god of music and song specifically. In order to properly get along with it, Su Lin figured that the best way to attempt to communicate with it would be by singing to it. Su Lin decided to try this, even though he wasn't all that confident in his singing voice. He hoped that it wouldn't annoy his crewmates too much.

Action 1: Su Lin shows Ornos the obelisk and comments on how it was the one who created it.
Action 2: Su Lin tries singing to Ornos and observing its reaction.
Action 3: Su Lin attempts to activate this obelisk like the first one via Intention
