*Tip*
Once again, I remind you that if you need to eat you better make sure you specifically specify that you are willing to eat rationed food. If you mess this up this turn, I will let you starve to death.

Turn 14
5 food items have been consumed from the inventory. Nobody starves... This time.

Asker of Questions uses two branches to create a Hoe. Asker cannot name the Golden Fruit "Cashew" because it has already been named. The GM does begrudgingly permit the branches to be called "Cashew Branches"; however the item now has a misleading name. Love Berries and Waterleafs are rationed. Asker then harvests the file to obtain one Golden Fruit and one Ropevine. Fortunately no food was stolen this time. Unfortunately, one of those "Monkeys" decided to take the Golden Fruit gathering tool! And now its running up a tree.

Easter Sunday creates 2 simple strings from the unknown yellow plants. The product is of a particularly low quality however, though it should suffice for at least one use of a tool. He attempts to forage as well... But doesn't find anything this time. The concept of bait proves to be simple enough to figure out immediately!

Beatrix Purnima wields the farming tool, and expends labor and 2 love berries on the farmland to increase it to size 5. Beatrix then harvests 4 love berries from the farm. Research continues on housing.

Imic stops research on Masonry and begins research on better tools. Without collaboration, this starts a second research project on the subject of Better Tools. Imic forages on G6 to collect one poorly named Cashew Branch and red herb. One of those "Monkeys" has been sighted in the area, this time you found it before it found you!

Finsternis Geist searches D6 and locates one unknown blue flower, then moves back to E6.

Description: An ugly calculator that vaguely resembles a game. Its rules are too difficult for most players to comprehend so they mostly fail to gather food and starve or chase monsters alone without a weapon and shit like that, causing the GM to lose faith in humanity. The waitlist to join is currently open... But don't expect a spot to open up anytime soon because in Gridland Survival, things are going nowhere fast. Warning: The GM for this game is snarky.

How often is this game supposed to update? I'm a bit worried about the total lack of any signs of life from the GM.

To clarify, the tech lets you make string out of any plant... But some plants make a lower quality string than others.

*Tip*
Starvation gets worse if it occurs several turns in a row. It can and will outpace any healing techniques you may come across; eventually you need to eat. You also need to heal as you are all badly injured and its getting worse all the time.

Not only is it possible to research previously researched things, Imic's "Creative" trait actually gives a bonus when doing exactly that.

Turn 13
All available food has been eaten. Beatrix Purnima takes 2 starvation damage. Imic takes 3 starvation damage. Love Berries are no longer rationed.

Beatrix Purnima harvests the farm using the Berry Gathering tool to collect 2 love berries and 2 giant love berries, making this the single most bountiful gathering action in all recorded history. Research begins on housing.

Asker of Questions creates a gathering tool for gathering fallen branches, then uses the Golden Fruit gathering tool to gather at G6. One Golden Fruit and one unnamed red herb is collected.

Easter Sunday gathers at E7 to find 1 waterleaf and one Unnamed Branch. Having found all the prerequisites already, the Pit Trap cover research is immediately finished!

Imic works on the Paddy Field. The waterleaf cannot be added because it was already eaten, due to not having been rationed. Research begins on Masonry.

Finsternis Geist begins to investigate area D7. Unfortunately, the creature starts to get agitated from her prolonged intrusion in its territory and it turns aggressive, attacking Finsternis Geist to deal 4 damage! At the very least it didn't have any further objections about the theft of a mere branch. Finsternis then retreats to D6.

In area D6, there is a large strange looking object. It is black in color, rectangular prism in shape and stands upright...

See the communal inventory? If the item isn't there, you can't use it this turn.

Quick reminder: You can't use items on the same turn you gather them. Its a gm convenience logistics issue.

Turn 12
All food items aside from Love Berries have been eaten, and 1 love berry has been eaten. Imic and Finsternis Geist take 2 starvation damage.

After many turns of not upgrading the farmland, Beatrix Purnima finally gets around to expanding the farmland. Research finished on the shield.
The insect swarm disperses.

Asker of Questions moves to F6 and forages the tile. 1 branch and 1 mushroom is found. The Carpentry Tool has been researched, which can increase efficiency when construcing buildings out of wood.

Easter Sunday finishes creating the Pit Trap at E7. Attempting to cover it with vegetation however, causes gravity to pull said vegetation into the hole... Research begins on selective breeding. This research appears to be just plain complicated as opposed to missing pre-requisites.

Imic harvests his current tile. 1 Waterleaf is located. Surprisingly, Imic has discovered a large amount of Glowroot in this tile, adding 5 to the communal inventory. The Masonry research has finished.

Finsternis Geist stops research on better tools to start research on the Basic Torch. The knowledge put towards advanced tools has been lost. On the plus side, the torch has already been figured out! Finsternis Geist goes to explore and forage on D7. An unknown branch has been found. Finsternis comes face to face with a large creature on this tile! It is roughly three times her size. It has two stubby legs and two long arms, and is covered in hair. It stares right at her, but does not appear to be immediately aggressive.

Finsternis cannot move back to E7 this turn. Remember that you can act then move, OR move then act.

A large and fast unidentified object can be seen moving high above the ground at a high speed...

Heh. Alright, the game shall go on. I am still going to force a certain someone to declare they are eating a rationed love berry though. Its the principle of the matter: I specifically said you had to do this several times.

It seems like no matter how much I try to persuade you to work together to make plans and read through all the content in this game, you just post whatever first comes to your mind regardless of how many reminders I give you of varying degrees of subtlety. Makes me wonder if I should just shut the game down right here and now.

How much fun would you say you are actually having?

Alright, here is another tip. You should specify what resources you are using when upgrading the farm. Since you are not using labor anywhere else I assume you want to do more than just pay the required 2 love berries to get to size 3. If you want to do as much work as possible you should say something like...

Reading the tips is fine, but what you REALLY need to read is the first post. I'll skip to the part that is immediately relevant:

Move: How many tiles a character can move in a turn. A character may act then move, OR move then act.

If you see anything resembling a rule that didn't make it to the first post, let me know because you aren't supposed to let me forget to do that.
