  • I propose that each accepted rule shall be given a name by God, for easy reference.
I propose this rule is altered to include the fact God should reword the rule so that it isn't written as a proposal in the rules list.

A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO:

SHADES

For breaking the game!

HUZZAH!

Now what do we do? Start over?

Thank you and I'll happily take the credit, but you all had a chance to vote no on that.

I propose that if God does not post in the thread for 4 days, it will be strapped of the title and the next person who posts may freely declare themselves the new God.

Technically the game can continue in four days regardless. Although if anyone posts a rule that passes we have an issue in 24 hours when the rule has to be added but we have no god to add it.

Edit: In fact if you think about it the lack of any god means he can't have posted in the last four days and you could probably argue that rule could come into effect now.

Not so sure about that.  I've played through the tut campaign a couple of times and the AI in the final battle at least has performed differently each time.

It's scripted in that there are limitations on how it reacts so that it acts correctly for the tutorial, I imagine there is still some of the AI running underneath that and would expect it to be better in the full game. Although obviously not as good as a human player.

13. I propose that posting a image of a glove shall be considered a proposal to duel to the previous poster
NO!

I propose that each accepted rule shall be given a name by God, for easy reference.
THIS!

I propose that a player can declare themselves Negative, and that Negative players shall be counted as voting No! on all proposals unless they specify otherwise.
NO!

I propose that if God does not post in the thread for 4 days, it will be strapped of the title and the next person who posts may freely declare themselves the new God.
THIS!

I propose there can be no more than one God at any given moment.
THIS!

I propose that Tylui (and all future posters holding the title of "God") shall be referred to by other posters with the prefix "Supreme Chancellor".
NO!

I propose
in preparation for an extended absence God may appoint a temporary god until God is able to return
The temporary God shall be referred to as Bruce
Bruce shall only have 3 votes instead of God's 5
NO!

I propose that it takes at least three votes (including the initial proposer) for a proposal to be excepted.

A potentially useful resource for non/new-coders who want to learn programming: http://learnpythonthehardway.org
Obviously this will teach you python but apparently it's a good grounding in how people learn to program, I've not read it but enough people I know have recommended it that I thought I'd pass on the link.

When a player makes a proposal, that player has an implied vote for that proposal until otherwise changed.

Rules will not be followed until written into the official ruleset by a player with the role of God.

"Roles" are an attribute that players can possess. Roles come with any number of any number of the following properties: "Powers", "Requirements", "Limitations", "Responsibilities", and said properties
NO!

11. There shall be 3 councilors , if theres a tie they vote if THIS! or NO! A councilor is elected by vote from all players each week.
NO! - although I would if you altered your proposal so councillors are appointed until removed and they use their previous affirm/deny vote in the tie check rather than revoting.

I propose that everyone shall receive a complementary cake for participating in this game.
THIS! - but I have no idea how it will work

I propose that if player with the status of God does not post in this thread for a time of two weeks game is considered concluded and everyone participating loses.
THIS!

#. I'd like to propose the following two rules are repealed.
  • Tylui has the role of God, and his vote is worth 5 times more than the average player.
  • All questions asking about the nature of a Nomic game shall be responded to with this link.
THIS! (because you have to)

#. I'd also like to propose that rules are attributed to their creator / last modifier and that if a rule is repealed / modified that person's votes don't count for a period of 24 hours. This proposal would of course have to attribute ownership retroactively.
THIS!

That's the last time I look up 'Japanese back sack'. :(

Why when people post things that I know not going to be a good idea do I still feel the urge to go google? must resist.

EDIT: Misread it a little. In fact you're assigning the same coordinates to all three vertices, forming a single dot.

Good catch, didn't even see that. He probably should just change the 'Y' verts to be += stepSize directly and be done with it, I'm not sure what the setting blockY first is trying to do.

It would be interesting to see how far a group of 30+ scavengers, the rest being either scout or guardians in a kill team, who got lucky with their special sites (ie water type and defensive item types) could get. Seems that the end days scale up pretty fast though.

Those balloons are called 'horo' according to CA.

And yes, they are fabric bags.

CA just limited them to the general's bodyguard unit to make them more noticable in battle.

Apparently they stopped arrows.
Although you'd have thought their effectiveness would get reduced after the first one.

Have fun facing that in multiplayer with no chance ever of getting to play them yourself.

It's a single player faction not a multiplayer one.

preorder "bonuses" are a cancer on gaming and need to die.

I agree, but this won't happen until retailers stop demanding them. Groups like walmart are too big for you to say no too.

My excitement about this is tempered by my anticipation of being nickled and dimed for DLC units.

This better not happen ¬_¬ Happy to have dlc expansions but not for tiny unit sets.

Got some spare cash, so went ahead and pre-ordered. Eagerly awaiting more!

I knew there was something I meant to do. :)
Hopefully we get an alpha to play with soon.
