We all ride towards a harbor so we can get on a boat. The trip was surprisingly difficult, as nobody wanted to talk except for Iris. And she just wanted to know where Zero went.
After a good 6 hours of driving, you get out of the cars and just have a sit-down. everybody gets some sandwiches from a stand nearby.
Zero won't eat it.
Just tell the thing what happened. It'll be for the best, or at least, amusing.
What she doesn't know cannot hurt her.
I agree with pink, here. I'm just going to get some fish, and feed him, alright?
You'll have to deal with this, you know.
You jump, startled by the sudden emergence of sound from right next to you. This the first time she's spoken after Zero's... Incident.

Iris will discover it. How she does it, will be up to you. I'm not coming near that cage.
She looks angry. But in that sad sort of way, not furious "Gonna kill everything" angry. It's kind of worrying.
We'll get to the harbor in a few moments. We can get some fish, he can eat it, he'll be back to normal.
I hope that works, but until then he's a liability. A dang-
You slap her before she continues. The tension in the air can basically be cut with a butterknife, but Iris thankfully comes leaping out of the nearby bushes.
I caught a squirrel!
Sure enough, she has a live squirrel in her mouth. You take it from her, leaving her somewhat disappointed, and you go into the truck and throw it in Zero's cage. You hear sounds of the squirrel being ripped apart.

He doesn't seem to do anything else, so you get everybody inside the trucks again. Iris continues with her questions, so at least you can take your mind off things.
When you arrive at the closest harbor, you're in luck. There are some fresh fish available.
Again, he eats it. Rather messily, guessing from the sounds. Time to just get some zombies in crates for the local cruise ship.

Iiiiiriiiiiis...
You look up, startled. The crab you were playing with scuttles off while you are distracted. You knew Zero was still around!
You rush towards the trucks, and open it up, pushing aside the Zero's helpers.
Could you... come a bit closer. Iris? I need something from you.
Sure thing! You say. And you walk right up to... A cage?
Weird.
Please... Come a bit closer to the bars.
You stand up on your hind legs. Zero's face is smiling at you! You instantly smile untill...
Something's off about him. He's not really looking at you, or at anything from the looks of it. Suddenly his eyes gain focus again, and he looks right at you. His hair is sticking to his forehead, and some blood is dripping off.
You carefully take a step back. He's a bit sc-
Zero lunges at you through the bars but the bars stop him from getting to you. He starts screaming and yelling in the most terrifying voice you ever heard as you sprint out of the truck.

Told you to warn the brat. Now look at this. Fine job, pinkie.
It's only temporary, don't worry. TW says whilest attempting to comfort Iris.
It'll be fine, alright? We'll figure something out. Really.
Iris just keeps crying. You honestly can't tell if it's from the scare or what's happening with zero.
Or maybe she isn't too happy about you not telling her? Fine job princess.
Shut up. You accidently say out loud.
You clutch your head as she continues to chastise you. You stumble off somewhere. You need some time to.. figure things out.

Just so everybody knows, there are no restrictions on chiming in, ever. You want to say something, do it. If it's critique on how I write PLEASE say that.

You fight off the feeling of nausea long enough to make a speech.
Behold the power of putribillius, here to protect you all from the evils of this world. But he stands alone, and he would you continue to aid ungrateful fools? Be enlightened, keep yourself safe! My people are spread throughout, search and you shall find the way!
You remove your self from the people holding you up, run into an alleyway and poof out using your gas form. It'll leave some impression, you'd bet.

You manage to force yourself towards the tower, and then you decide it'd be a fun time to excrete some sort of black tar. It is rather uncomfortable, to say the least.
You also can't contact put, and you're vomiting tar again. You pull yourself inside the tower and pass out.
You have a dream then. Which is sort of odd, as you don't actually dream or sleep for that matter. You see the creator before you.
HEY, Good job on saving a good 53,596 souls from destruction. oh wait, you got a few in a bottle, that means you have a minus 3 on that! But, that puts you up a rank in your alignment! You get to pick a new god to represent!
What!? This was not the intention!
Hey, I don't make the rules, bud. OH WAIT! YEAH I DO! At any rate, there's nothing stopping you from doing enough evil to return to your spot under lawful evil. So, here are your choices!
A sudden light blinds you, and the next thing you see are many spotlights, and three curtains. A curious little jingle is playing in the background.
First up, the prim, proper and practical god of avarice and money! The one and only Cornu illud Copiae! He's the one I put under lawful neutral, he's got some great things going for him!
The god really doesn't look like much, to be entirely honest. He looks like a dwarf who has a bear long enough to create clothes out of. Which he did, actually. Other then that, his teeth and eyeballs are made of gold.
The creator nudges you a bit, and holds you tightly before whispering into your ear: I'm not supposed to tell ya this, but he's kind of a dweeb. Got some great perks though. money, mainly, and some convincing and trading bonuses!
But, gentle-entit, this is not the end, oh no, not by far! Next up the the ever aloof, ever intimidating and most of all just plain cool! The one and only, DEATH!
He looks like a vague shadow, to you, with a scythe that could cut the words you speak. He takes the form of whatever the interpretation of death is for the victim.
OOOOH, watch out Mort, You may have a little extra fan, soon! Also, Cornu? I suppose you've got a chance as well. Technically. BUT NOOOOOOW
All the lights go out, and the spotlight over the final curtain slowly comes in.
The curtain opens, and just about the most beautiful thing in the universe is before you. Or, that's what you guess. Being a ball of gas makes your sexual preference sort of non-existant.
And here she is, the mysterious one and only lady of luck, Fortunaty! I'll be honest, to me she's easily my favorite.
Oh please, you won't get my favour with nothing but a measley entity. Not to say I would mind taking him under my wing.
Well, make a choice!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

At some point my brain decided the creator is Robin Williams. Specifically the genie.

Looting the town went quick, but you don't quite care for the meat from the butcher. You just can't swallow the damned stuff, and you are getting really fucking tired of Iris' constant yakking.
You'll just get going towards a harbor that'll get you to Texas. That's just about the last thing you'll remember for a while.
PERSPECTIVE SHIFT FUCK YEAH!

I still say we should just kill them.
You've said that enough times now.
Clearly not enough, as I still see a lack of meat on the blade.
[glow=pink2,300]Please stop talking for a few seconds, I-[/glow]
A loud scream interrupts the train of thought. The fact that it sounds like TW makes you sprint at just about the highest speed you've ever ran. You turn a corner and see Zero and TW locked in...
Oh shit.
You fly forwards and knock Zero down on the floor before he can bite TW. He doesn't even fully register it and snarls at you before charging you with the grace of an elderly rhino. Sadly, his strength combined with your bad leg still knocks you to the ground.
He stands over you, and starts beating you like a wild animal. You cover up your face and attempt to kick him away, but he won't budge. You start yelling for help...

Then it stops. You look back at the rampaging alpha and see him shaking and gurgling before he starts bashing his hands against the floor in a mad fury. He seems to for ce himself to his knees before bashing his head against the floor.
you can get the upper hand when he's prone... You pull yourself up to the best of your ability, and put his hands behind his back and keep him down as he starts screaming and struggling again. TW already ran away so how are you going to-CLANK
You look behind you, and see TW has prepared a cage. Dropping it just helps making it more dramatic, you suppose.
That'll work.

So now you have an insane Zero in a metal box made out of airduct.
How about we follow his example and kill him?
Shut up.

You rip open the sack and jump in, trying to ignore the sticky fluid making small screams and the tiny hands grabbing you. You just go gas to avoid that little grapple.
You are 500% done with this demon bullshit.
So, taking a look around, it's basically a giant stomach. Just with more screaming and more light worming through the thin membrane. You briefly consider eating some of it, but the fact that the slime is trying to choke you makes you reconsider.
Still, how are we going to get souls anywhere.... Bottling them seems to work, but you only get 3 of them in there. You go solid again, and the hands return. They remain tiny, but the do pull out your artifact amulet.
Instantly, everything starts glowing and the hands briefly attempt to double their attack quickly falling away. You are blinded as a maelstrom of souls enter the amulet, the much too bright tornado swirling out of control.

You fell the air getting removed, and you fall to your knees in the confusion and sheer power floating about. A similar torrent of every swear word known to you is going through your mind as the artifact fills.
A loud tear sounds throughout the sack, and in flies a butcher. The short flight was clearly the highpoint for the demon's short stay in this, guessing from his squeal of delight as he flies through and rips through the other side of the sack.
Then the sack outright explodes, covering everyone near the sack in the demon's blood and membrane slime stuff. You take flight THROUGH the demon's neck and land into the other sack.
The amulet takes up more, and a small crack appears in it as it takes up more power. Then some assclown fires a ballista arrow inside the sack and you fly out again.
You smack face-first into a wall. It hurts, but the only real pain comes from the embarrassment from how silly it looked. You pick yourself up and look down at the glowing light near you chin.

Your amulet glows and floats a bit from all the soul-power. You smile in satisfaction from all the potential soul-loot you just got. You are positively gidd-
Then the amulet explodes.
Fuck
The souls come coursing out at a ridonkulous speed and go back to their empty vessels. Many sputtering and grateful people get up, and as the demon starts melting away a general feeling of relief and happiness courses throughout the city.
Most of the damage is structural, but there are very little actual casualties. When it all calms down, you are hoisted into the air by the single largest orc you've ever seen, while he uses his equally huge lungs and throat to yell about you being the savior of the town.
You'd feel great and all, but you currently feel woozy and saving people isn't your job in life....

Use zombie whales for sea transportation. Then, since they can't air drown and have good armor, put wheels on them and use them as APCs.

You turn right back around and enter the facility again, looking for some dirt to throw on them.
Sadly, they were the moral part of the company, taking care and containing stuff. The old lady personally dealt with most of the sentient test subjects, and most of those were evacuated as well.
Honestly, they were more of a clean-up crew to genetic abominations from small horse. you just can't find a single damned thing that really directly discriminates them.
This. is frustrating. The only incriminating evidence is the emails, and that can be put under "faked".

Then you just go through the town and manage to find something interesting, at least. There's a solid gold ornament in the town hall. so you've got a souvenier, at least?
Whatever. You get some food for the human and mostly-human companions. Then, into the van we go towards Texas, you guess?
You're really tired now. And some food would be great too, you haven't had any prey recently. But you can drive on for a bit.
Of course, you cannot fit all your zombies inside a truck. How are you going to deal with that, and will you begin driving to Texas after that?
Or do something else, we're always improvising.

You attempt to launch your rot while running, but you fail to hit the sacks. You simultaneously ask put if there's anything else you can do.
Yah, Stey n' fight! Dem butchers be bound to ye, and ya giv' em a boost. So turn around, and kill dat fing.
The mood you are in can only be described as a combination between fear, exasperation and something you can't quite put your finger on. I suppose it's bravery born of loyalty. Ech. Disgusting, honestly...
You turn 180 degrees and run back towards the demon. When Put tells you to do something, you do it, alright? Even if it means you get squished.
The demon is getting quite pissed now, seeing how it's just smashing things rather then trying to get souls.
Sloppy.

You give it another climb, as careful and slowly as you can. The butchers do seem to fight better, but that might just be a case of believing it hard enough to make your mind think it's true.
Well, when you were close to his eyes, the clincher fell, and the demon fell down. On top of a while bunch of buildings. People need to start considering the collateral damage when they fight titanic beings.
But whatever. The face is available for reaping, guessing from the angry everything bearing down at it. Now it's screaming in a new feeling for the demon, namely fear.
Also pain. Pain is new too. Honestly, it's a wonderful plethora of new feelings for it. Wonderful for anybody not him.
However, you are stuck between it's cheek and left soul-sack. It's embarrassing and getting crushed is a real possibility too.

Hey, TW. About your request? How are we going to find someone to look into that?
I know of an organisation that splintered off small horse medical... But I'm not sure if they'd help us. They claim to be against their monstrous experiments.
Sounds like our best bet though, where are they?
Texas.
That's a loooong drive. You think there's anything left here?
Evacuation protocols, they must have taken the entire town... I figure this is one their open bases, that involves the town and somesuch.
Good guess.

Whaddayado?
Also, thanks to JHYMERS for giving something to do.
Maybe I should make something happen if don't know what to do.

Gas form and floating up, right on the double!
Which isn't that fast, actually. It's steady ,but slow. The rot missiles don't do all that much noticeable damage alongside everything else the watch is throwing at it, ranging from ballista's to trebuchets.
The two servants of death are busy preventing civilian casualties by stopping some sort of beam coming from the demon's mouth. They can't stop all of it however, so the sacks fill with souls regardless.
Still, without them the entire town would have been sucked dry by now.

Your climb continues, and your rot has the advantage of being cumulative. It can't regenerate over your rot-spot, but you honestly aren't sure how rotting works on demons that lack physical mass or anything edible for the bacteria.
But hey, it seems unnerved by it, scratching it every once in a while.
You finally reach the demon's head, turn into your solid form, and rake alongside the sacks using your momentum from the fall. It doesn't do enough, it just heals right through! The demon grabs you with it's giant hands, and covers you into some sort of slime that makes you feel... empty, for lack of a better word.
You can't turn gaseous, nor can you fire off your rot. You just about give it up as the eldritch mouth opens up, and your mind starts emptying.
Until a green glow opens up and butcher-like creatures fall out, wielding a butcher's hook in each. They do the same as you, and rake the sacks open. With much more effect, as the monster drops you in pain.
The butchers get a grip using their hooks and start climbing. You ,meanwhile, have had it and decided this town can go fuck itself.
A shaking in midair removes the silence-inducing drool ,and allows you to turn gaseous.

You start running , bottle with you. Do you want to call it quits and leave it to the people with ballista's and big hooks, or do you stay and figure something out?

You return the kiss, and after a few seconds you release eachother again. Diane is blushing to the extent that she can probably pass for a pretty convincing fire hydrant. However, after the little rush of feels, you can't help but ask what it means.
Well, me finally trying something I've been considering for a long while. But you know... First it was because I didn't want to get zombie diseases. That little compatibility problem was fixed later on so....
You sort of needed to figure it out and then you just sort of decided to...
I dunno, I just got the courage all of a sudden.
Since when does a badass like you need to work up courage?
In case you haven't gathered, getting raped tends to do things to your psyche. Seriously, don't try to figure out my feelings. They are complicated and self-destructive.
Duly noted. At any rate, we might be dealing with a post-dog rush here, so let's just slow down before we do something we both regret.
I suppose I always was a bit of a bitch.
You're the most adorable little serial killer ever and you're wonderful.
Always the flatterer, aren't you?

You leave the alleyway despite a minor amount of awkwardness hanging about in the air, and get a little look at the situation. Your zombies have been recruiting people from the surrounding buildings, but nothing seems to be left.
If you'd have to guess, the evacuation protocols also apply to the city. This town is empty.
Now where do you go?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Getting to the other side of the room will prove to be difficult. You enter the closest husk and turn it into a butcher. It's a slow process, but you scream to the guards to just let you transform. With them dealing with all manner of beasties and illusion and gods know what else, it's not that difficult.
Chopping through any resistance proves easy enough, and you finally get to the whitening soul. You enter that little mind and take a look at this soulscape.
It's a huge library, but it's filled with holes of oblivion. If anything falls through that, it will cease to be. That's quite scary, come to think of it.
The soul itself is cowering and is being sucked empty by what seems to be a huge horde of ticks. It's disgusting, to be honest.

Killing a few ticks made them angry. They removed themselves from the corpse, and they clump together in a sort of eye. Then their legs meld together and grow...
You are fighting a tick-leech. With one giant eye in it's mouth.
you bite it in the eye the first time it attempts to eat you. It dies after screaming and convulsing a bit.
Honestly, why do they make their weakspots so glaringly obvious? The ticks dissolve again, and the biggest black tick remains. It flashes brightly, blinding you.
When your vision works again, the tick looks like a succubus. Impossible hourglass figure, sultry voice spewing bullshit about pleasures, yadda yadda.
You just bite the soul. The succubus screams in rage.

You don't feel great when you get back out, but the portal looks weakened. It then fires a beam at you, but it doesn't do anything.
You don't have a soul! haha.
Stupid mortality assumptions.
The portal will be shutting down now, so that's great. You basically have this won now!
Then a large hand comes through. The portal vomits up a huge appearance, which crashes through the levels of the mansion, then exploding outwards.

It's a huge red humanshaped demon. With the minor differance that it has a mouth starting from his head to his lower body, and that he has some sort of sacks.
Fucking hell, we're gonna have to climb to rupture those sacks. A climb of about 150 feet.

You gladly return the hug to Iris, and extend an arm towards your other two female companions. Diane gladly follows up on your invitation, but TW stays where she is.
The hug is still pretty sweet, but TW refusing it makes it sort of sad. Ah well, you can't have everything. You and Diane let go of eachother, while Iris remains attached to you.
I love you, zombie-dad!
Her calling you dad gives a sort of shock through you. You eyes shoot open, and you sort of freeze in place, even after Iris jumped away again to take a look at some ravens eating bodies. She's probably a bit too curious for her own good.
Snowflake, could you take care of her, please? Congrats on learning how to speak, by the way.
It mutation. No effort from me.
However, that still leaves one question unanswered.

Diane, can we speak in private for a moment?
Is this about my... wants? It's really nothing. Honestly...
Still let's go somewhere, I've got another thing to say.
She sighs, and comes along anyways. You go into a little alleyway and begin your little talk about the fact that your bodies must be more pliable then originally thought. Then, you shameless pull the topic back to what she wanted.
You're just not going to shut up about this, aren't you!? But fine, you wanna know what I want!? Heh. Here. You. go!
She grabs you harshly and kisses you on the mouth.

You follow the main group and watch the carnage. There is very little in the ways of defence left. Mostly golems. The farther you go, however the more worrying it becomes.
Flesh golems are the first sign they became desperate. They started losing creativity the deeper you went. After a while the floors were covered in blood, some ghosts wailed, yadda yadda.
When the walls actually became flesh and most people started getting worried. When that flesh started MOVING you know something REALLY bad was going down.
Then you come to the great gates below. Made of flesh, bone and teeth. It's breathing. Some soldiers are feeling light-headed, and your cultists pray to Put. The assassins just leave.

When the gate is broken, and teeth and soldiers burst into the large chamber you see what they are doing. You scream in horror.
They are opening a gateway to hell. This plain cannot handle this. It it not meant to be. THey HqVee T-TO ST0ppp.
You hold your head in pain, and pray to Carnifex to save you. The portal is doing things to your LiEs. Your defiler won't help.
You fall to your knees, in fear obedience. It won't leave your head. It's beautiful.stopstopstopstopstop.
Nothing will help. You are ours.

Suddenly, a loud yell burns you, but clears your mind. The large man who is in command just did a Holy shout (codex updated)
You get back up, shaken by the experience. Looking around you, you see two tattered cloaks with scythes.
Opening hell pissed off the god of death. The thing is, how would you even try to close it? There are many wizards around it, but most feel... empty? Basically, they are just husks. In the back of it all, there's a screaming man on which the portal is opening. It'll slowly white away his soul.
What do you do?

The escape goes quickly, seeing how it consists of a 3 people, one giant and a few stupid people that are good at following orders. You find a few stragglers along the way, but not much.
OH WAIT. I just got that!
Got what?
Why it said colon, three. It's a cat smiley!
Do you want to start some sort of cat-related conspiracy theory?
I don't think the writer can pull that much BS without feeling unhappy about it.
Whuw? Errr, anyways. What do you two wanna do anyways?
A bit un-decisive? Actually, I'd like to find someone who can look me over. That whole killswitch thing worries me.
Find a guy from the company, check. and you Diane?
I don't have anything specific... But I do want to... Actually, nevermind.
Don't worry, I'm too dead to judge and I don't think TW judges us that much anyways.
It's nothing, really. Look, the exit! She's blushing to the point her face has the color of a fire-truck.
When you get out of the exit, you see the hospital completely blackened and scorched. Many equally blackened skeletons everywhere, too.
The building has got to be on fire on multiple floors yet the bottom floor is fine... It's a good thing it's still standing, getting killed by a hospital is a bit too ironic a death for your tastes.

And too much of a death in general. Most (permanent) deaths aren't really all that fun. At any rate, there are plenty of zombies outside, however.
They are just kind of wandering about. A quick yell brings them to you. Looks like you lost more then half your zeds, though.
What now? The entire town seems to be empty from where you're standing.
Then you get glomped by Iris.
