Hey,
Thanks for all your help, DF modding friends! I can't seem to get my custom body parts to show color in the creature description. For instance, I'm trying to get a color description on its bulb:
[SET_TL_GROUP:BY_CATEGORY:ALL:BULB]
[TL_COLOR_MODIFIER:MOSS_GREEN:1:YELLOW_GREEN:1:FERN_GREEN:1:MINT_GREEN:1:SPRING_GREEN:1:AQUAMARINE:1]
[TLCM_NOUN:bulb:SINGULAR]
What obvious thing am I missing here? It seems to be selecting the bulb properly, but the errorlog says that the color mod was not used. Can you not add color based on body part/tissue? If not, why can I color things like eyes? The body part functions properly (many thanks to Putnam), and is defined as BULB in every instance.
This has turned out to be quite the learning experience for me. I am obsessed with this stupid bulbasaur. As always, thanks for your time and consideration.
Yeah, I know people have made pokemon before. Someone asked me to make a bulbasaur, though.
I have an attack called VINE WHIP in which bulbasaur (spoiler alert) uses one of his 2 vines to whip a fool. There is a bulb connected to his upper body and 2 vines connected to that bulb. Everything shows up fine in the arena, and the attack recognizes that it needs to vines to function.
But I keep getting that the attack passes right through the target. The vines/bulb also have attacks pass through them. The error log states that there is no tissue thickness associated with those body parts. I've defined them as using a material template, which seems to work for things like skin and muscle and the customized teeth I made for him as well.
Any idea what I am doing wrong? Every other part of him functions just fine. I created separate tissue/material/body files for him to try and pinpoint it, and every other part of him is recognized from these files and made of something.
