Quickly, post the most musclebound, testosterone pumped, deliberately goofy and possibly gentlemanly name possible.

Solomon senses the base euphoria of brutal medieval combat nearby, and WIGS OUT. He grabs both sides of the hole in the weakened door and tries to rip it apart the rest of the way.

"SOLOMON KILL WEAKLING DOOR!!!" He roars out, flecks of anger flying from his maw.

I'm sure someone here has information on the effects of liquids on a raised bridge. I know that things like blood will just still be there when the bridge lowers, but that may be unique.

The bridge essensially fires creature in random directions when it raises. You have about a 1/10 chance of having something land somewhere safe, and a 9/10 chance of having it slam into an object and exploding.

If you send a horde of untrained dwarves at anything whatsoever, you are going to lose 2-3 as you take it down, barring a lucky oneshot kill.

I agree. For me, though, I went through having difficulty with sieges, and came up with my own method of dealing with them consistently. I have a bridge that can retract to one tile wide over a deep pit, and shoot crossbows at em from wither side. with a couple of melee dwarves on the other side, this works fine without trap corridors or drawbridges. I cant wait to have a new challenge siege wise, and I can't wait to find a way to defend against it.

What you guys need to understand is that there was a time when goblin sieges were considered a difficult thing.

In this forum, it does not matter what difficulties are thrown at us. We WILL find a way to muchkin around it. Just look at the Aussie-Checkerboard. Even HFS has fallen to our ingenuity.

This had so much dwarfy potential. You should have walled them in, collapsed the ceiling on them, and cast everything in the hole in obsidian. How dare they freeload in your fortress, and not even share the booze!

Step 1: Confirm that vampirism is present in the child

Step 2: Discover method by which baby accquired vampirism.

Step 3: Ascertain method of duplication

Step 4: Conduct guided experiments to determine combat applications / weaponization of vampiric
            Dwarfbabies.
