X-Com superhuman Antarctica challenge.
-Difficulty set to superhuman.
-You may only have one base and it must be in the middle of Antarctica
-No reloads. Whatever happens, happens.
I failed it but I will try it again at some point when I am bored.
Instead of Antarctica set your base on the island in the pacific. No land at all.
-Only have rookies on missions, sack anyone who gets promoted past squad leader.
-X-com is a proving ground for new guys (let's say the military is overcrowded, and this is the only means of filtering out the weak).
-No PSI (obviously)
-Rookie equipment only (X-Com: Redshirt is on a budget)
-No tanks. We're supposed to filter out the weak, and we can't babysit them.
-Sell all higher-tier weapons and ammo. They're to fund the rookie-grinder and to fund the military upkeep. Consider it a "tax" if you will.
Add more to this challenge if you want.
Shit if you just want to take it to the extreme. Lets go for it :p

-Base must be on that island in the pacific that was mentioned earlier.
-Anyone who gets a promotion must be sacked.
-You may only do the researches that are absolutely required to reach Cydonia, and you must do these as quickly as possible, as soon as you have the avenger ready you must go for Cydonia.
-You may only send one operative at a time on each mission.
-You may only use pistols and stun rods, no armour, no grenades, nothing fancy.
-No PSI
-Your interceptors may only be armed with cannons.
-Difficulty must be set on superhuman.
-You may not reload or save AT ALL, game must be completed in one session.
-No tanks.
And yes I know this is impossible, I am just being silly :p
