Life Advice / Re: My Life As It's Been
« on: January 05, 2013, 01:34:30 am »
Your teachers seem like my second grade teachers. Except they weren't angry with my horrid handwriting and constant stuttering, they were actually angry about the quality of my desk which was pretty well off compared to the other desks around mine. But, my desk was, unfortunately, on the edge and she always saw the innards of my desk, and it got to the point where she would just pour out the contents of my desk. Luckily, there was that guy that kept on singing random songs in a horrible voice, and soon enough the teacher isolated him from everyone else and told him to shut up a bunch of times.

Vincent shall research the fetish while continuing to explore for places of loot and grandeur.

Well, in this game the main quest only provides a general framework to start your adventure from. Most of the time everyone just runs off and does their own thing (possibly due to rolling a 1).
Like me and Vincent. If the Jar wouldn't have opened, vastly diffent things would have happened.

For example, I would have been alot more boring and mundane.
If I hadn't gotten curious and touched a certain ax multiple times, I would actually know what world I'm in.
EDIT:Retrieve the Torus of Murder from the tribesman and see if the tribesmen had any artifacts or blood from an innocent.

Bah, they only have spears unless they use the shafts I'll be fine.
Knock them all on the head with my staff and continue studying the symbols.

Study the symbols in the diary.

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: The Last Goblins (Suggestion Game)
« on: December 30, 2012, 12:35:42 am »
Wow. There's a lot of suggestion games about being the last of some dark race, or being goblins, or whatever. I should start a suggestion game where you're a paladin or elf or something, just to break the pattern.

Quick question: Is it 343 or 443?
433. Sorry, but I flipped a coin between being a Beastmen horde pillaging the countryside or this, so yeah. I can just retcon everything into bogdemon-lizards or something.

Greet the new person and try to see what's wrong with him and give him something to eat.

The year was 376 and the Goblins have just achieved their greatest engineering feat of all Goblin history, the Goblin Colossus. Now this gigantic metal statue wasn't really practical as the whole project was just an experiment to see if the Orcs, Kobolds, and Goblins could work together effectively. The experiment was a resounding success and the Orc-(Kobold)*-Goblin Alliance was having great signs for the future. But, it should be considered that the Orcs were the only ones who actually held any land. The Orc's control spread out through the whole northern area of the continent. We Goblins only had one city to our name, Gobwarf, the coastal city that we bought from the dwarves back in 189 and we have been on good terms on the dwarves eversince. Sadly, the dwarves disappeared in the year 257 near the end of The Second Elven-Dwarvish War when they accidentally caved themselves in to try and escape from some elves..

Just the year after the Goblin Colossus was built in 377, the Human-Elven Coalition sieged Gobwarf. Our Orc allies valiantly launched frontal assaults against the Human-Elven positions. After our supplies ran out, we ran into The Catacombs, an extensive tunnel system the dwarves and us goblins built in order to have more space in case of over-population problems.
Now it is the year 433, we have established farms down here in The Catacombs and have the food situation already sorted and we won't have to worry about food in the near future. The only remaining goblins down here in The Catacombs number close to 10,000 located in the two settlements, New Gobwarf and Gobonia. We have explored a decent amount and found a forest filled with trees that produce ball-like fruit and truffles. Shall our civilization rise from its ashes? That question will be answered in the following years.
