« on: April 19, 2011, 12:01:32 pm »Oblivion and Morrowind (daggerfall is too long ago) have the worst leveling system ever. I'm jumping around the landscape, try not to raise the wrong skill, just to get the best attribute bonus when I do level up. Next level I'm casting the same spell hundreds of times, and am careful not to run or jump for fear of messing up the bonus once again. Bah.
I for one welcome the Skyrim skill experiment.
It was mostly fine in Morrowind, you could pretty much ignore it and take 2x, 3x in your 3 attributes. Since you had over 70 levels to work with, you're pretty much guaranteed to cap everything long, long before then. No levelled enemies helped too.
I think I did the same thing through my Oblivion saves. In the end, it's not too bad. Might give a bit more of a challenge, but likely nothing insurmountable.
