In hindsight, it was kinda funny.

Hmmm, the instrument framework means technically the necessary parts to have a wooden weapon with obsidian blades embedded in it exists.

Oooh, shit. That might be interesting to see.

Ah, no use of "crude" sheets via a tool to fake it, like how I did it? XP

I also still skipped the lime-washing idea, and additionally made paper plants skip straight from harvested plant to paper, in the same way papyrus is made.

Doubly weird. o3o

In any case, hope that the brewing and papermaking proves useful.

I've still yet to devise a way to make biscuits that won't crash the game. ;w;

Ah, that should work, yes. But if they don't stack, I can see it getting annoying. ;w;

I'd rather be an anaconda man. o3o

Ah, nice.

One thing I belatedly realized, though. Does the stack bug affect tools in the same it affects thread/cloth/sheets/body materials?

If it DOESN'T one could use the idea of cleaning bones and make recipes that require bones use clean ones.

Even so, there would be three caveats. One, it might swamp the player's inventory with multiple separate, non-stacking cleaned bones. Two, it might be odd as you'd wind up with masterfully cleaned bones and such. And three, it would still be subject to oddities like being able to use bones from multiple creatures and having the end result only count as one material.

Iron macuahuitl. Such derp. o3o

So, hmm. If I added a knowledge definition to humans, without removing the "randomize all values" token, would it randomize everything EXCEPT knowledge?

So, I made myself a Monster Island. Soon discovered I accidentally gave minotaurs teeth made out of nothing, and dragon scales are Scale for some reason. :V

Glorious transmutation. o3o

And here I thought that requiring staves as material for weapon handles was a silly idea on my part. o3o

Concerning the whole "whom do you serve" thing, you can do a little detective work to root out a travelers allegiance. If you know about any events involving bandits harassing towns, that will identify the relevant bandit leader in the line itself. Then if you ask that person for their opinion on that person, you know you've struck paydirt if their response is something like "The Arghs of Blargh are my comrades."

If the only events you're aware of are "bandits present in a camp" events, you'll have to spread the bandit events as a rumor, then the following screen should include the options to ask about the whereabouts of one of more people who are in change of that camp. Then you proceed to step two as usual, until the poor sap blurts out who their allies are.

Omg, such a cool story... My last super-strong warrior died from trying to pass a frozen sea and the water thawed on his feet.

Ah, my last vampire warrior died shamefully as well... Killed by boogeymans.

Ah, no worries, it always happens. Hell, I think my first adventurers universally died to bandits, wolves, pissing off townspeople, or not learning how to swim.

Though that is why I tend to disable boogymen in advanced worldgen. ;w;

Is there any way to make the mod compatible with texture sets? When I installed it, most creatures (and a few items) started showing up as letters again.

Ack. I really should toy around with DF tilesets, but never tried before. From what I know of them, you'd have to go and set the tile definition of every single creature/item that it overrides,

And lunacy like that already makes me miss the way it's done in CDDA, where the sprite assignments are defined by in the tileset's files. @_@
