It would be far mor useful to strap the computer expert to a generator.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

I have been thinking about the message. I wonder if the problem experienced in the shipyards might have been some sort of biological issue. A disease outbreak, perhaps. This would explain the unusual amount of medical supplies requested. Humans are quite frail. And when many are confined in a small area like a space station, an outbreak of a new deadly disease can be disastrous.

I suggest we quietly pick up a few hazmat suits.

Build the horde! Pick a neighborhood and just go house to house turning everyone into zombies, until there starts to be a commotion, then get out of there. Rinse and repeat! ...or, you know, don't rinse, because zombies don't need to bathe.

Guys, guys, we pulled it off!!! We deposed our ruler and placed our man on the throne! We're awesome! Just wanted to point that out!

Also, make sure our payments to the Rat can't be traced back to us. Nothing crafted or commissioned by us, or even in Feroshire. Just plain, unmarked bars of gold. This could still come back to bite us if we leave a loose end, like paying in coins with our face on them!

Attention humans! I've decoded the last message from Kadung. It appeared disappointingly simple at first:

Quote
[Starting Daily Report]

Ship production on shedual
-Requesting additional construction materials (Mainly chemicals)

All patrols report clear borders, no further infractions detected.

Civilian morale is good.

Requesting following civilian goods:
-------------------------(Message breaks of here)

Rather boring and standard interhuman communication.

However, the encoding has some odd patterns in it, unusual for such a simple message. So I inspected it closer and found a whole different level of code within the message! I have decoded this level as well. BEHOLD!!!

Protocol 23 Engaged. System lockdown. Code: H7K8D9A9I0D7 234 ...

That doesn't sound overly promising. Apparently "Protocol 23" is a cry for help and some sort of warning to anyone entering the system. Clearly, something BAD happened here. But I am unfamiliar with the particulars of "Code: H7K8D9A9I0D7 234."

I'm unsure how much of this we want to share with the other ships in this endeavor. It might spook them and cause them to back out on us. Perhaps we should keep this information to ourselves.

I would hope that I have proved my worth as a member of this team and I am requesting permission to come inside the ship. If you recall, I'm still strapped to the roof attached to a turret. As this mission sounds by far the most dangerous thing we've done so far, I'd feel much better about the whole thing inside the ship's armor.
Oh, I'm not disagreeing with it, I just find it amusing that we're all such horrible people.

Its snowing again today...
In Canada, isn't that a little like saying, "The sun rose again this morning."

Sounds right. The girl was behind it all. Pushed her husband like a Lady MacBeth, even to the point of murdering her lord and father. This is common knowledge, and it is horrifying. Arthur should be advised accordingly.
This sounds good. That way we can kill both of them! That way, nobody comes back for revenge... unless... do they have a child?

I like how no one is suggesting actually investigating the old count's "murder" to see what really happened. :P Medieval "justice:" whatever suits the strongest man in the room.

You start your negotiations with the expedition leader. They negotiations are rather though, and in the end this is the man's final offer. 15% on the profit of the endeveaur, but you get to keep the loot of any of the pirate ship's you down during the mission.
Cheap piece of scrap! I say we take it anyway. We need a quest!

he does send through the message for the AI to look at.
Oooo! Code! This is the most exciting thing to happen yet since I joined this ship! 101001010100111001100101011011001010011101001010010101110100010......

Due to your comment, she keeps the darn cat ears. As she is an half-Asian elf it will not have heavy story impacts. Those tend to have some more eccentric things.
Half-Asian elf with cat ears...  :)

Bah!! Have the kid wait, we've got a great game going here! :P Seriously, though, congratulations!

We should just turn affairs over to Count Arthur Foles. If he wants our advice, we should be there for him, but it is his place to judge Owen, not ours.

We should also send out scouts to the surrounding area, see if Owen had any supporters on their way here to support him. If not, we can probably send most of our men home.

Perhaps I should take a crack at decoding that last signal from Kadung, being a computer program, decoding should probably come pretty easily to me.

Interesting... if the people turn against the corporation, that will weaken them both and strengthen our bid for total world domination!!! Muhahah!

On that note, lets take over this new town. Go to a mall and have our zombies surround the place as inconspicuously as possible (maybe steal a few cars and park them full of zombies at all the exits. Then just walk in and start biting people, when people panic and run outside, the Banana Gang horde springs the trap!

Accusing Owen of the old Count's murder might not be the best method of getting the town on our side. Remember, he was an incompetent jerk. His people are probably glad to be rid of him.

Screw nature.
Oh we've been screwing her for several centuries now!
