Perhaps we can help each other.  Ask LARP if it knows any cat-killing techniques.  If it does, invite it on board.  We probably have some spare hard drive space, right? (Assuming LARP is another AI... we should probably ask it that too)

We have remote access to our cargo ship from the Firestar, maybe we could have Urist and Armok try to reprogram the ship's identification codes.  Make it appear to be some long-abandoned old merchant ship.  Have the crew get rid of any physical markings if possible.  Maybe we can still keep it.  Of course, pretend to be cooperating with the military.  Theres no way our cargo ship is going to win if it comes to a fight with a destroyer!

Also, prepare a boarding party on board the Firestar, the merchants might need help repelling the pirates.  And keep firing at those fighters.

Fire the main gun!  Kill the pirates!

Wow.  I think we're going to want more of those Ravenhawks!

I agree with pursuing the pirates at least a little ways.  We should probably leave the fighter back with the merchant, just in case anyone tries to loop around and get behind us.

Man (or AI) battle stations!!!  I guess Urist gets to learn combat maneuvers first hand.

Wait.  Do we know which ship belongs to the hacker?  I'm guessing that the station has at least a handful of ships docked at it.  We can't just assume that the next one to leave is the hacker's.

We have to somehow get inside the station's comm system and determine who was sending the signal, or at least where the signal was originating.

Yeah, we turned off life support, but even if it was functioning at the time (which was never established), the hull looks like swiss cheese so the pilot was certainly long-since dead.

We killed the last pilot. I fear for this one's life already :d
What makes you think we killed the last pilot?  I would assume that one of the 27 hull breaches was more likely to blame.

Most likely, we were in a battle years ago, and our pilot lost...

I think the AI needs a name. (Assuming AI's have names, and not just some binary identification code)  You may all refer to me as Urist.  It's an ancient name dug up from the annals of long-lost human mythology.  Legend has it that it once came from the greatest game ever devised by human mind...

Also, is it possibly at this proximity to triangulate the exact source of the signal we tracked back here?  Is the signal even still active?

Attempt to convince them that, as your creations, they owe you their allegiance.

If that fails (and it probably will), run!  Hop on TQ-01 and use his new bionic legs to easily outrun the clones and anyone else who might be following.

Still want to play as an AI?
Sure.  Although I'm not sure what effect playing as a specific character has, since we can all make suggestions anyway.

Yes.  Hire the AI.  Specifically see if he can improve our handling algorithms.  He probably doesn't have access to any warship thruster control code, but maybe he can tweak the stuff we already have in place.

Are there any AIs looking for work?
