Not only that, it begins to suddenly contradict the current laws of space/time, unraveling itself, revealing the terrible entity...

Connor patted his creation. ''Now nothing, no obstacle nor competitor, will slow my baby down! Whilst our opponants flail in dismay at their misfortune from the course, my Armadillo shall cruise by, oblvious to ANYTHING this course has to offer... MWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!''

He revved up and let it rip. He had a plane to catch!

Turn has been pm'd

I love how Days Of Ruin/Dark Conflict plays! But I dislike the story and the characters. Mind you, Dual Strike was awful in it's story and new characters so... I dunno :P

Always favoured the first one for story but a fair mile.

With 4 competitors in the maintenance, there was alot of sparks from welding, zany new creations being brought in, some cheap trash talk here and there and ALOT of people looking at the World Conq MK1 and it's owner, Dariush The Mad!

''stupid fricken emp...'' Connor muttered as he passed by the vehicle in question. There was alot to be done. Despite his utter misgivings for the offending tank, the plane, Starrunner, was completely out of reach of everyone. Connor was sure that it was on everyone's minds. How to catch up with that devilish plane?
People will have different ways of thinking to accomplish the same objective, and lessons learnt from the first 2/9th's of the race
(only 2/9th's? O_O) will only add to whatever outlandish ideas people will think of.

Connor approached his own vehicle of awesome. ''Hey! Guythatican'trememberwhoicalled! Get the spanners out! The Armadillo just got serious!''

ze turn has been pm'd!

Kos continued to listen around him. Quite a little crowd. It had some of the usual chatty types who would give suggestions as to what the problem might be, or guesses as to who the stranger was (thank goodness he worked that out. Kos was starting to wonder if he was the only one who didn't know someone) and then you got the silent types. Funny how those two categories seem to account for almost everyone.
Kos decided to get off the wall from leaning on it to be the one closest to the council. He chose a small bench, gave a quick stretch before he sat down, waiting expectantly for the council to say something. It was becoming apparent to him that his appointment was not him only. Not always a bad thing. He had looked around and seen quite alot of useful people. Naturally, the attractive girl with the awesome weapon caught his eye. The only thing more stunning than the weapon was she herself. The sad thing was, in the military, didn't matter her skills, she'd've become the cover soldier, advertising the military. A couple of orcs were always welcome for their strength. Ontop of that, they'd be more reliable than normal, it was an orc settlement they were after, assuming everyone was here for the same job. Couple of elves had initially put Kos at unease. He quickly dispelled such anxiety by focusing on their mannerism's and body language. They seemed pretty much like everyone else in the room, which pretty much accounted for everything. A couple of others were noted to him as he yawned in wait.

Kos had heard of the attacks not long after an assignment involving escorting a caravan had ended. He had before-hand sought someone who could fix his laser pistol, finding someone who owe'd him a favour. He would collect it after the meeting with the council.

As someone who had been told that everything outside the civilised areas were twisted from a young age, but who had also witnessed the outside world in combat, he was both a little surprised and completely calm, almost as if it was expected one day.

He had asked to meet with the council as he became increasingly concerned the more he thought on it. Besides, council somtimes paid a little more. Kos sure wished he didn't need to take money for doing something like this, but such was life.

He strolled in, with his carbine strapped to his back, laid back but with a determination. He was surprised to see so other people at the same time, considering he got his time from the council. Had he got the times wrong. A quick told him he had not. A shouting orc at the council caught his eye for the moment, so Kos decided to sit down and observe how things were going to go.

Dariush... That damn emp of yours... STOPPED MY ADVANTAGE COMPLETELY THIS TURN!
I so hate you, even if you did EMP yourself :)

''ARRRGH! DAMNIT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT!'' Each 'damnit' was accompanied by a metal clang as Connor bashed his head against the metal, unnerving his crewman. ''That DAMN EMP!'' Connor cursed. ''He will PAY!!!!''
Turn is being PM'd

YES! Got in quick enough for an awesome RP! :)

Name: Jos Krin
HP: 70/70 (tough)
Stamina: 100/100
Sex: Male
Appearance: Short, spiky brown hair, pretty fit. 5'11'' with blue eyes that can shift from relaxed/lazy to determined and steely. Normally is wearing a kind of body armour in dark green colours. He looks a little younger than he is at 30.
Bio: Jos grew up in a civilisation struggling to keep true to being a civilisation, constantly indoctrined that outside is dangerous and how twisted creatures outside are. Still, Jos was always discerning, a believer in second chances. Having said that, indoctrination made him wary all the same. He went into the military for a while, hoping to gain some discipline and skills to help him gain employment. After a certain time passed, he was allowed to leave, but decided to stay on, feeling purpose in his life in ensuring the lives of others can carry on safely, though he also hated simply being a grunt. When a questionable order was given, Jos refused. The only reason he wasn't executed there and then was because he had been pretty popular amongst the troops. Instead, he was dis-honourably discharged. Determined to use his skills to better those around him, Jos has been working as a kind of mercenary since then, often being hired by the same people that discharged him on account of being a valuable null. Atleast Jos can ensure he won't be ordered around the same anymore.
He's pretty quiet on what that questionable order was, preferring not to talk about it.
