Matthias:

Buys food first:
5 smoked fish - 5 silver
1 bread - 5 silver
large bags - 5 silver
coin purse - 1 silver
bottle - 1 silver
Dagger - 100 silver

117 silver used.
383 silver remaining.

Matthias looked around after he had bought everything. The sword was just too expensive to buy, not like it was his style. He decided to see if he can find some work that might earn him an axe of some description. Woodcutting might be a good start, as much as he wanted to help take down the bandits.

Inventory: 20 food, 12 Torp ammo, 8 Anti Air Defense ammo. (taking everything with me)

Shoppe: Sell bad crew member, buy good one.

Actions:
The Armadillo moved solidly off. Figuring that a few others may get a better start than himself wasn't the issue on this blustery day, for Connor's dream consisted of being behind by faster rides, but catch up slowly as they take damage or get slowed down! Now was the time. NOW WAS THE DREAM. THE RACE IS ON!

Switch to Boat mode.
Race!
Round the Clock Discipline, night time race.

I CAN AFFORD THAT :(

I love how that armour makes it EASIER to fail my repair roll which ofcourse damages me. Nice thing for me there. :P

Also, D10 best defense I can get when it's against ground/sea only? Oh well. Also, what's this I saw about a VETERAN crew member there? Is that kind of thing buyable? :P

Taking all food and ammo, as it fits in nicely into my 40 cargo. Also, ammo allocation: 12 to torps, 8 to anti-air defense. That means 6 torp shots and 8 air defenses. Machine guns just aren't worth it, at this stage.

Getting excited now. :3

do you know, since we're waiting for the race to start (I think he's delaying to raise anticipation :P) I have to point out that the plot's been bugging me for ages. It ends on SUCH a cliff hangar! I so want to know that important announcement :P

Name: Matthias Drechburn (I have GOT to start thinking of some more names)
Race: Human

Info: Average height, fit, ruffled brown hair with blue eyes. Matthias was a farm helper for a long time, gaining some money from some smith work or shop keeping when things got tight. He's recently let someone replace him for most of the work he did, allowing the other guy to live with some money, and for Matthias himself to leave. Having an understanding on how things are run, or could be run, he endeavors to become a Lord/Chieftain/leader-dude, minimum, and improve the lives that he can. Ofcourse, there's also a chance that the only life he'll improve is that of the vultures, but time will tell.

A'ki slumped in her seat as the recording was played to the council. She had terrorists, something that the Cr'yan are just not used to, and now this. She had nothing prepared to help out in case of trouble out there. And now they knew they were not alone out there. The council murmered, many fearful, others haughtily angry. She was sure this was not going to go down too well.

The council are always hard to please, but she had said what she needed to, and now was going to do the same for the public. An open message once again, so many for such a new leader. ''My people. Today, we were sent a video from our Scout Fleet in the 120 T quadrant. They were under attack after being downed on a planet, by a warfleet of unknown origin. Considering these scouts are the very height our technology, it isn't one of ours. It's a painful decision but, we cannot rescue them. It'll take us 4 months just to get there, assuming we even have the capability to make a fleet for war of our own, and it's not including engaging the enemy. It could take half a year of huge amount of resources, just to see a husk. But we now know we're under threat. I said two months ago something was going to change the Cr'yan civilisation. This was not what I had in mind.'' She paused. ''The second fleet discovered a good system with 2 good planets, so we have options. With that, we will return our scout fleet and fit them with a stealth technology. They will then go and look for survivors of the first. We all need to stay strong and united more than ever. Thankyou.''

She would spend most of the two months visiting the families of the scout fleet consoling them, giving them help where she could. At the same time, Mat'hel was given the responsibility again of arresting the rest of the terrorist actives, including V'ral, the yan in charge of finance. Interrogations would hopefully shed light on why they did it, and the future they all wish to have and bring.

Orders:
Return Scout Fleet back home.
Both spec ops used to capture the terrorists.
Build a space station.

Buying now is an awesome thing.

Selling my bad crew member
Buying a good crew member.
Leaves me with 2 grand. I'll think of what to spend it on in a bit.

If I can, I'll decide final distribution of cargo when I have the re-rolls (after all, if both machine gun and anti-air ammo size go down, then I'll use less cargo for them.)

[Edit: If I had known about pricing for crew members and the money roll, I'd've skipped the crew roll and gone for a re-roll. Oh well. Enjoying this ^^]

2096
Can we buy re-rolls?

I also assume we can't buy any items until the race starts at the shoppe, yeah?

Also, BLEGH! Rolled high on something I'd more than happy to get s 2 with (money) but oh well.

The mighty re-rolls.

Roll 1: Ground/Sea armour re-roll.
Roll 2: If the ground/sea armour re-roll is equal to or less than 2, re-roll that re-roll. If not, then re-roll anti-air defense
Roll 3: If the ground/sea armour re-roll re-roll is equal to or less than 2, re-roll the re-roll of the re-roll. If not, but ground/sea armour was a re-roll of the re-roll, then re-roll anti-air defense. If anti-air defense was re-roll'd and is equal to or less than 2, re-roll the re-roll. *breathes* If none of those criteria apply (ergo, ground/sea armour AND anti-air was 3 or above) then re-roll Machine Guns.

nice and simple :P

(as much as I would have wanted the repair perk, it seems that double repair is better anyway, even if there is a chance of damage (no idea how likely failure is) so I guess no need to re-roll that)

2097
6's have not been overshoots thus far. As far as I can see anyway.

2098
Pffft! Stupid crew member...

The Armadillo

Roll 1: Obligatory money.
Roll 2: Round The Clock Disclipline. By having one person drive and the other sleep during the day, it can allow the Armadillo to keep racing during the night to make up for it's lack of speed. Once every 3 turns, the Armadillo may make another race action for nighttime (ergo, after everyone else's actions aswell as self) by a roll of a dice no modifiers. Roll of 1 will be D1, with roll of 6 being D6.
Roll 3: Re-roll that repairing thingie. It can't get worse than one :P

2099
Ouch...
Really, ouch...
I think that's the worst set of 3 rolls anyone's had, ruining my perfectly average run :P (Though Toaster nearly had as bad a set of rolls just now :S)

Oh well, re-rolls will be needed. (OUUUUCH)

Roll 1: Food. Nothing too fancy, but nothing too rubbish either.
Roll 2: Ammunition. A third for the torps, a third for the machine gun and a third for the air defense.
Roll 3: What's this I hear about bring able to buy a crew member at the start? Providing that it's easy to buy a Good crew member at the start, then I shall have this re-roll the repair system. If it's not as easy (or outright expensive) then I shall roll for a Good crew member, as I only have one. :)

you're all stupid.
