Even worse when the bathroom, where I usually get jumped by them most, is literally a door away from my room and there's one right inside there at the worst of times.

Oh. Fuck. I genned a world where only goblins and kobolds exist, decided to be a kobold, and now I just spawned in a shrine. At least half a screen away is a Bronze Colossus. How fast do I need to run?

The closest thing I guess I've ever been to be playing DnD was this BYOND Game called RP Radio, which is DnD, but Sonic The Hedgehog. The people there are downright hostile.

Yeah, I was going for three gold coins on the shield.
