Also mega-traders (the kind that spend all day at the market and throw around trillions of ISK) love to play with the market, slowly raising prices as they please. I saw a screenshot from one person who singlehandedly traded 30% of the Jita plex market.

Alright, I suppose it's time. Time to finally accept that this game has lived its lifetime and has to be put to rest now. It was a great campaign though and I very much enjoyed playing with y'all!

I might make a new game sometime soon, or I might not, but if I do I'll make sure to contact you guys. Potentially thinking of a game with the mechanic where you have a couple random one-use spells that are constantly refreshed.

If it isn't better by tomorrow I'll probably.need to get it repaired, which will most likely take a bit...

The disabled keys are F3, F4, F5, G, H, quotation mark, and alt. I guess they're all part of one matrix connection and it all got shorted out.

I spilled water on my laptop and now a bunch of keys don't work...

This, coincidentally, means  I can't really DM until I fix it or get a usb keyboard  as a backup :/

This is like the 5th consecutive no game week so I kinda feel like we'll never get around to having another :S

Hello all! This is just a friendly reminder that there exists a Bay12 Lower Boards IRC channel for random chatting.

If you don't know how to use IRC, it's quite easy! Simply get an IRC program (HexChat or XChat), find the part that has servers and input the info, then pick a username and hop in.

There's a couple rules for #bay12lb.

1 - Don't be rude
2 - Remember, kicking just means "cool down." If you get banned, though, that means someone doesn't like you.
3 - No risque stuff in channel, especially while Wrex is on. Remember, private messages (PMs) are a thing.
4 - Don't be rude

the more i actually use OO pattersn the more i realize that the typical teaching examples are really terrible....

I disagree that nobody reads documentation :P

The first thing I do whenever I want to figure out how to use someone else's function or library, I search for documentation. Big projects that are well-maintained (like, say, Unity or Flask or Python's standard library) are wonderful in this regard. Looking at the code is a last-resort and is often not what you should reach for first, just because it takes soooo long to parse.

Of course documentation has to be maintained, just like code.
