The HG forum games were always non-canon. Assumption being Katniss never competed, and she lived a regular life then peacefully dies single.

That reminds me somehow, I should bring out the GM devices now...

Tributes: As a reminder to the rebels that the Capitol's fate rises and falls together...

Arena; White is not good. Fall from heaven.

All of you may or may not be happy at the fact that I have sketched out a rough idea for the 100th Hunger Games, which will be the game after this, all things permitting.

Because it is the Quarter Quell, there will be a special set of tributes and an extra special arena.

Carribeans! I just put it here.

Also will be put in OP.

You need 20 levels all together to get there. That means Merchant+Adventurer+Soldier >= 20.

Elf, that is where Nato is.

The distance between the Azores and San Juan is about 24.5 cms, which translates to a 24% price increase (Or was it 2.4%? I forget)

@Toaster

RECEIPT

Gin 9 500 4500
Ham 12 386 4632
Glass eggs 7 1033 7231

LEFT 33637

The galley left for Gijon.

It took 6 days and 1500 in wages to get there.

Glass eggs' prices were the same and sold for 1044. Ham sold for 408, while gin sold for 388, its price having fallen by 16% the past week.

@hubris

London! Pepper sold for 5896 per box.

@Tiruin

The market price was the price. He did not sell anything.

Juan then bought all the ointment on the market. 35275 was doled out for 25 boxes of quicksilver ointment. He had 361 ducats left.

The cannons sold as goods were NOT ship cannons, and Juan didn't have money anyway. He skipped buying the cannons.

He sailed into Faro a day later.

Quicksilver ointment: 1644
Almonds : 148
Almond oil: 579

@techno

The sales gave Mehmed a level in Merchant. He sold for 38982 ducats.
He then asked around for any regional dyes, but he was repeatedly told, "What is made here is sold there (points to trades post)."

He bought 25 loads of copper for 19750 ducats. He then set sail to Barcelona.

On the way there, he made sure to 'fraternize' with his men. He learned that his accountant also knew how to trade preference goods, and had 3 ranks in that skill.

On the 7 days to get there, he spent 1050 ducats in pay.

On arrival, he was greeted with the sad news that glass eggs' price had fell to 1109 per box. On the bright side, copper ore could be sold at 929 per box.

@Elfeater

The men were chained in the storage room with no tools conveniently located to let them escape. He then sent 2 of his men over to take control of the ship. What to do now?

ANNOUNCEMENT! : The next update will also unveil the Carribeans! You must have a total level of over 20. That means most of you need to be level 10 in Merchant.
Also, you need to use 2 of your store per crew, as you cannot supply your ship on the way across the Atlantic.

Griph wandered along the fence. He walked for quite a while. Eventually, he reached an opened gate with its lever pulled. He exited the city and started to go out into the forest.

Wikus drank and ate, before going to sleep in an empty room.

Lexx closed Annita's eyes, then scanned the part of the building she could see. She spotted the trap that had killed her: a metal wire, with its protective rubber skinned off, strung at waist height. It was charred and smoking. It did not seem to be reuseable. She beckoned everyone in and looked around. She could see a number of plushy leather sofas, potted plants, and a pair of elevators on the right. On the left was a stairwell. The floor was carpeted and woven.

Gail searched around the lobby, making sure to check for traps. She could spot nothing else.

Sohac moved with Tiberius and split two ways. Sohac made a tripwire at the emergency exit he spotted. It would drop the dagger Sohac had on the floor, making a clanging noise. Tiberius wired up a trip wire that dropped the empty water bottle on the ground, making a hollow noise.

Dylan jumped out of his tree and collected sticks, and kept on moving. The ground slowly turned marshy.

Cole could see no traps.

Keena attempted to climb up a tree, but it was too slippery and smooth to get a foothold. What kind of tree had a smooth trunk, anyways?

Ferrel went downstairs and checked the shattering glass trap and the mirror. It was installed incorrectly, so he fixed it. He then went about making trails.
He used is binoculars and peeked out of the window. He could actually see the tributes down the street. The dead tribute lay on the ground. He sipped some water to calm down. Because of his less-than-masterful sneaking ability, he thought it dangerous to go outside. He then returned to his temporary bedroom and closed the door, barricading it with the bedstand again.

Nabisco continued to wait. He could hear no sounds from his building: it seemed the pack was at a different person's building. He crept upstairs, and saw it to be true.

Keena pondered on dropping nightlock into a sleeping tribute's mouth, if she could catch anyone like that.

...WHAT?!

We should have put 50 men to build houses and 30 men to cut wood! We MUST focus on doing things, not do a little of everything! We had adequate food for some months!

Natives can be met and liaisoned with later, when people are freezing to death! :(

I heartily disagree.

Anyways, now lets finish the houses and cut more wood.

I propose 5 men to build houses, 20 men to build docks. Do whatever you people want to do after that. Oh yeah, send 50 or so men to cut wood.

Is the bay here a warm or cold, deep or shallow on average?

We NEED house right now. 50 men to build, 30 to cut wood is the way :£

Initial public offering :P Let's assume it means "first time that good has been found by a PC".

That is why we need housing! 50 men should build, and 30 men cut wood.

EDIT: The women should set traps. Who says women can't hunt? >:-D

I thought we already had a stockade.

40 men to cut wood, 40 men to build housing, 40 women to gather plants, and 40 women to set up animal traps.

The collective gross income from the brandy and oil was 21357. Chico gained a level in Merchant.

Six pots of ambergris were bought for 18750 D. He also bought 26 crates of onions for 1950 ducats. He then packed up and set sail for Sevilla. He got there in a day.

Currently, onions sold for 79 per crate. Sugar cane sold for 203 ducats per crate: the price had fallen. Coconuts also fell, selling for 231 per crate. Ambergris sold for 3528 per pot.

The accountant that was part of his crew suggested he sell the coconuts and sugar cane far away, such as Europe, instead of near the Gibralter Strait.

@techno

With much convincing and haggling, he managed to sell his stock of wool for 10% better than the trading post price. It did take most of the day. It might be beneficial to hire a haggler to help with selling goods directly. He earned 14020 ducats and gained a level in Merchant.

20 crates of linen was bought for 7260 D, ten of woolen cloth for 10550, and five boxes of glass eggs. He had 783 left. He then set sail to Lisbon. It took 10 days of sailing, especially due to adverse winds in the Channel. He was now 717 ducats in debt, for sailor's wages.

Linen: 395 per crate
Woolen cloth: 1194 per crate
Glass eggs: 1285 per box
Western armor: 2728 per box

@Elfeater

The Chinese junks stayed in harbor for the whole day.
However, he intercepted a tiny, undermanned, underarmed vasa's crew. He gained 5 crates of firelocks and 330 ducats. Should he (1) let them go, (2) steal the boat, or (3) kill everyone, THEN steal the boat?

@Repulsion

The beeswax was worth 14960, and the parchment 13370. Alexandre gained a level in Merchant.

He then sails to Naples. It took 6 days.

Olives: 339
Olive oil:370
Marble: 1533 + knowledge(geography) bonus 250

Signor Belleci had spent a great deal of time in thought within his cabin, but finally came to the decision that he would sell the chicken, but would test the London market for the price of pepper.

Pepper was currently 3116 per crate.

Belleci sold the chicken meat for 359.

Sell that Satin!

pay an extra 50 ducat per sailor on his ship

buy Almonds, and it's pressed counterpart Almond Oil.
Preferring Almond Oil over the Almonds.
Then, ordering the Helmsman and Navigator to chart the route to Sevilla.

Juan sold the boxes of satin he had for a grand total of 59007 ducats. He gained two levels in Merchant. He then also paid 50 extra for each sailor, as compensation for lack of pay. He now had 48824 ducats.

He then bought 38 almonds and 15 almond oil for 5358, 7680 respectively.

He ordered his crew to Sevilla. It took 1 day and 150 ducats to get there.

Almonds: 142
Almond oil: 517

Send 40 men to hunt. 20 men should start building houses, one at a time. Using the Os Colonos' rowboats, go out into the bay somewhat and order 20 women and 10 men to fish. The rest of the women should tend the crops.
