Impress Krag with my impressive defense.
Talk to toaster, and start up an idle conversation with the Succubus. Try and avoid the scythe of doom as well.

Also: I should probably Check my inventory. Forgot what I have...

[53] You keep your mouth shut (Dave).

[6] Neither Succubus nor Krag is impressed by your impressive defense!

[11] It seems the GM has forgotten your worldly possessions

Krag has: 100 HP, one flask, one gold bar, one artifact rope reed rope , one slime, one kitten, one pair of stockings, one Poisonous Transformable Tin Ring, and thats probably it.

:o

Try to tame it. In my current prone position.

You prostrate yourself on the floor before the WorldEater.

[13] He decides he is hungry. [56] He gives you a quest: FIND ONE TON OF FOOD BEFORE FIVE ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMS!

*facepalm*. Wear the +nylon panty stockings+ (My character is female, you know!...At least now she is. These things should help with seduction rolls, eh?), and explore the room with my two pets! (Carefully.)

Maybe if you create
Spoiler: this kind (click to show/hide)
of look :P

[76] You step on a slab of stone that depresses, making a grinding sound of grinding stone! You cringe inwardly, hoping it wasn't a arrow trap or something.

And... the lights come on!

You see the above creature!

Three slots, huh?

Name:  Toaster McTank
Let's head EAST!

[69] You open the door, and stumble into one woman with a cat and a slime, with one
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
standing in the middle of the room! Krag looks shocked!

[61] You finish the fight with a leg sweep! The skeleton is knocked into the skeletal material it used to be!

Clear gift [8] Something hard [7] One Catapult Turtle (hostile) appeared!

Use item shower! (It's been three rooms).

What kind of use is a gold bar!? >_>.

ITEM SHOWER! you powerfully Shout. [49] Two +nylon panty stockings+ appear!

A gold bar can be used to ... um....

Mr.Fluffertums has admired a completely sublime golden bar recently.

Headbutt it in the head with my head. Continue battle by beating joints and bashing it with its own bow.

[12] You lose your grasp on the bow!
[24] You miss the skeleton!
[49] You crack the skeleton's knee!

I...Trust Slime. I'll swim across the lava...to where the door is.

You jump in the lava!

[87] Thankfully, you know how to swim. It seems the lava really isn't lava but just warm syrup.

[90] You make your way to the door.

[75] You open it!
Room cleared!

Gift  : [5] Something pricey [72] You obtain one Gold Bar!

[69] The next room is again, pitch black.

Say good-bye to the Grizzled Adventurer and head South.

You clear the room and get : [6] Something pointy [95] You get one adamantine spear!

[2] The next room has one black dragon. His name is Alduin, the World-Eater.

>Continue attacking the skeleton, aiming for the hands first, grab the weapon or ammunition so it won't have a chance!

[44] You grasp the skeleton's bow and grapple it with your lower right arm!
[5] You punch the skeleton with your forehead and deal 5 damage!
[3] The skeleton punches you in the forehead with its skull and dealt 3 damage!

Curses! Get Mr. Fluffertums to translate what Slime is saying, and...Look for a way out!

Calvinball? I haven't heard of that in ages! Calvin & Hobbes was great :P.

[73] Mr. Fluffertums understands the Slime!
[57] Again, you fail to understand Mr. Fluffertums.

[84] Instead, you directly understand Slime and he tells you to swim in the lava across to the door you came in from.

Lasa started to cast a ice spell. With her wand high, she traced a circle with the tip of it. Above her head, thin plates of ice froze from the air and started adhering to each other, in a elongated needle shape.

With a flash of light the red spheres that circled him vanished as several firebolts hurtled towards the skeletons. He stepped forward as the bolts fired.

Or rather, the whole glob of firebolt separated into five, then crashed into the first skeleton he targeted. It dealt 140 damage and knocked the skeleton onto the ground. The ribcage and spine were blewn out, making the skeleton unable to move. Zario quickly dashed back in to the relative safety of the bear traps. The sound was rather distinctive, and the succubus and her guard all turned towards Zario. Noticing them, she ordered in a rather normal voice, "Bows!" Her voice wasn't all breathy, nor was it the Voice of the Legions, but just a normal 19 year-ish girl's voice.

Three of the remaining skeletons all drew their bows in one motion.

Attack the Succubus. Pray to Morrigan for the power to defeat my foe.

Alex charged after Zario. When Zario turned halfway through, he skidded to a stop and watched as Zario brushed past him. What he didn't see was the three bows aimed at him. Three arrows tipped with the same metal as their owners arched at Alex. The first one pierced his left arm, dealing 66 damage and flinging him way back into a bear trap. His other arm was unfortunately caught in it. Raynold observed that it was a Magnum shot, the equivalent of Smash for the bow. Beware of its powerful knockback, he mumbled. The second and third arrows clattered to the floor, and would not have found their target anyways.

Across the room, the succubus chuckled in delight. She started slowly walking towards them, placing one leather boot-clad foot before another, like a wolf.

Meanwhile, the six trolls started converging on the party. They flung everything they were holding at them. Metal, rock and other various materials hurtled through the air, but were stopped by the oval, sparks flying as they bounced off or were disintegrated. The black metal was intact.

Raynold lifted his sword into a vertical stance and waited for two of the trolls to come within his considerable reach.

Tactical map:

Right now, Alexander has 6 HP and some 52 wounds.
Lasa is casting a spell.
Donitz is playing a magical song.
Zario is waiting for the enemy to come.
Griph is waiting for the enemy to come.
Thrainn is waiting for the enemy to come.
Raynold is waiting for the enemy to come.

I really hope you post a blurb about it, at least . Usually you need either an actual book or a excerpt to get readers hooked. Also, though I'm ignorant about law, I think you should go ahead and write the book and reprint/post on forums all the hell you want. In Korea, there is this really famous fantasy author that started by posting 2-3 pages of her story, written on the spot, on a TELENET forum. She has now went on to sell millions of books in the Asia region, including a large amount of her 100% forum printed book that was reprinted in paper. She is Jun Minhee <전민희> and is well known in Korea, known in Japan but unknown to the Western world.

General Discussion / Re: Is Copyright Infringement Theft?
« on: December 28, 2011, 01:39:05 am »
This post is about the profit stolen argument.

Posters before me have asserted that piracy steals publishers of their profit, therfore it is theft. The thing is, it is possible profit lost, not real profit. A direct metaphor is you, deciding whether or not to buy one fine specimen of cantaloupe. You decided to buy it, when your friend dashes up and persuades you not to. The grocery store just lost some possible profit thanks to you meddling friend. Can it sue him?

Possiblity is not actuality. Perhaps some of the issue is that the publisher feels indignent that you are playing their games without paying up for it. Consider: how good was that game? You didn't pay; meaning you felt the company was not deserving of your money in one way or another.

Think about this too: even with the claims of losses of millions each year, last time I heard the major publishers are rolling along mighty fine. Think of it as greed. Greed for another couple million, when the coffers have manyfold more.

The "loss" that publishers report may actually be a sort of unearned income the companies want.

I agree with one poster(Was it Glyph?) that said companies must improve before complaining about pirates. Give customers something pirates can't have. One example is Minecraft. It is a laughably easy game to pirate: just copy the files of a client that was logged in even once and you're set to go. Yet, it has many millions of dollars. Coincidence?

Your creatures charge into their doom, Divine Splendor is passive. Also, how come I can only have one spell active at a time?
;P
You are divine; divine beings = unlogical, therefore you unlogically cannot cast more than one at a time. Just walk for once
:P

I enter the battlefield and play Ghastlier Gibus, a level 31 hat. It buffs evasion and speed by a factor of (3d2)/(2) whenever a destruction, remove from play, remove from existence, immobilize, or innoculating effects are applied to any entities nearby or at the user. If an affect is cast against the wearer, it's cast to the hat instead.
I take my stone cake wafer sword and go forth as a single unit, I engage the grammernazi alot brigade from the flank.

The Alots already had disappeared, while the Grammer Nazis had dismounted and are ready to shoot holes in your hat. They fire!

Try and locate a way off of the junction, preferably without becoming toasted. Ask my pets if they know what I should do!

The whole junction is surrounded by a 3 meter wide sea of lava. Or magma, if you're underground.

[54] Fluffertums knows nothing!
[75] Electric slime has KNOWLEDGE! [32] Again, he fails to dispense it.

The Calvinball topic on the main Rp thread is hilarious.

Use Indomitable Strength to send all of the beasts flying.

Well, I'm pretty sure your major bones were crushed in the aforementioned gravity-ness...

Levitate at will.

Thankfully to everyone, you, as a DIVINE BEING have a 1-spell-at-one-moment restriction, preventing you from casting any other spells besides Levitation right now. My pre-summoned Alots charge!

Activate Divine Splendor. All mortals within 200 feet of my avatar die. There is no saving throw.

It seems that you are standing 300 feet in the air, and your Splendor is wasted. Also, you fall to the ground and probably die in a glorious 9.8 m/seconds squared accelerated gravity assisted death.
